Headlight switch and loom fires.....DIY prevention
dragon green replied to CrazyDave's topic in Interior
Took some pics of the headlight switches, sorry about the quality, not the easiest of subject matter ! bottom is Mk2 golf middle early Corrado top late Corrado All fit the Corrado Took pics of the rear of the switches, the top 2 (Corrado) are exactly the same ! the bottom one (Golf) has 2 pins missing, but still works on the Corrado. Iam sure someone will be along to tell us if its a good or bad thing -

The answer you seek is in the best gear ratios for a G60 thread ! Cant post a link,i'am on my phone !
-
Only if you wanted to ! The CTN is just an O2a box with different gearing and final drive ! edit- i found it viewtopic.php?f=23&t=53602&start=105#p714377

PM CTWG60 he is the gearbox guru, iam sure he can help you,
-
If you look on page 2 it has all the ratios, including the CBA box with Vr 1st and 2nd, you havent stated what code your box is ! the CTN has a lot higher final drive, and is stronger then the G60 box. When you have time, read the complete thread, all your answers are in it !

Money and address forwarded to Mr. rsgtx thank you RW1 for above info -
After a little over 100k, my AVO adjustable front shocks have decided enough is enough ! Not a bad shock, certainly got my money out of them, the rears "only" lasted 85k,the Eilbach springs on the front are still going strong, the rears where replaced at 50k with some cheap Venom springs, rode and sat a lot better with the cheapo springs. After reading this thread, more than once :cuckoo: i have now succumbed to the dark side,or perhaps that should read the shiny side ! Look what ive bought -

Need confirmation on some mk4 rear brakes for sale on ed38
dragon green replied to Jon_vr6's topic in Drivetrain
I know i'am too late, the mk4 calipers fit onto your existing carriers ! As stated above you need the mk2-mk4 hoses. If you use the search, there's a good thread on here by Critical Mass that gives all the part numbers and helpful advice ! And yes your handbrake cable fits with no modification. -
At right knee level

Or if you dont want to travel,go to TSR, Only down the road from you, in Bridgwater !

Apart from second hand, is there an alternative solution ? ABS parts/servo from a newer model ?
