  2. If i had read the comments posted in the link by Yalan, i wouldnt have bought Hi-Spec ! But i did buy a set, about 12k ago,and i have nothing but praise for them, After sales service was top notch, maybe cause i go to their workshop and deal direct, cause ive used them before i get a 10% discount, 285mm brakes + 4 pot calipers= modern day braking and then some I keep toying with the idea of using their rear 4 pot calipers ! now where did i put that lottery ticket !
  3. Ive got a set of 285mm and four pots on mine ! I rate them, they fit behind my 15" estoril,no spacers, even the skinny spare fits !! and yes they do stop incredibly well, the calipers will go upto a 350mm disc !so if you ever need more braking, just buy new discs and pads, ive used hi-spec parts many times through the years,i always go to their shop (30 mins away) very friendly, and very very helpful.
  4. Mk2 golf seats fit ! they just sit a lot higher then the corrado ones ! the rears dont, not without a lot of work

  6. found an old broken door handle,(drivers) the part that usually breaks is the small part laying by the handle This is the part Daves16v sells in stainless steel, hope this gives you an idea what you are looking for
  7. Probably the drivers side which is a reverse thread - note the arrow on the screw! Until i found this site i had 5 drivers handles and two passenger handles, IIRC it was number two that wouldnt come out ,as i have replaced all handles myself, i know they where all right hand thread !
  8. On one of my handles, the screw wouldnt come out ! in the end i had to angle grind it off, very carefully !
