    VRT Help..

It doesnt matter how much money you throw at an Astra, it will still be ONLY an Astra !! Once you start modifying any car, its never finished, theres always something to do,or you start asking yourself questions,if i had the money, what will i do next !
  8. I put 22mm on the front, 25mm on the back, ive had my valver nearly nine years, and its the BEST mod ive done ! I reckon ive picked up at least 10 mph in the corners, maybe more, the rear end feels so stable, rigid I live in Kent, if you want a test drive give me a shout
  9. Done a round trip of 250 miles yesterday,to Santa Pod ! Only saw one C ! and that was a race car ! Didnt see Ugly Bloke and believe nobody saw me ! Note to myself must disarm my captured Klingon cloaking device enjoy pic of V8 Corrado, didnt race Saturday,so no times
  10. anybody got these ? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Volkswagen-VW-Cor ... 7C294%3A50
  11. brakecable part number--1H0609721A i was charged £12.63 +vat each ! not that hard to replace
  12. There are plenty of places that will make them for you, goodridge make them to a pattern, takes a couple of weeks, you can have them made with ALL stainless fittings, but be prepared to pay ! Drag cars and hot rods dont use copper pipe, they use stainless pipe ! you think youve struggled with copper, wait till you use stainless ! cant you use stiff wire,an old brake pipe to make a template, and bend it off the car, or at least most of it
  13. have you tried disconnecting the horn ? the horn push should only be the earth, disconnect it from the fusebox, take out the fuse, and relay, any change ? what you have got to do is isolate as many circuits as you can,one at a time,to try and find out whats causing it ! as the man before me says probally a dodgy earth, or a power wire earthing onto another cable(s) or a melted plug somewhere, sorry i cant be more specific
  14. I personally wouldnt run that length in a braided hose, you can buy small benders for the copper pipes, there inexpensive and easy to use
  15. have you tried the headlight switch ? unplug it and see if it makes any difference, when mine went wrong,it burnt out the horn wires,i ended up rewiring the horn in the end ! Hope this helps
  16. cut mine off with a disc cutter 30 00 miles ago !
  17. welcome to my world ! have replaced disributor, coil ,leads and most other things electrical, but still have to have new cap and arm every 6 months
  18. Maplins still do the thermal fuses, 69p plus postage
  19. thanks, pretty sure ive got it now
  20. yep, ive ordered some audioscapes, and he`s sorting me some good woofers to go with them you probally cant see the picture very clearly, but 1 crossover is wired with the input to the input side, the other is to the woofer, is this right ?Do i only wire 1 to a tweeter, the other to a woofer
  21. a couple of questions, where are my tweeters ? are they the ones in my dash ? and where are my woofers ? okay that was 3 questions, but i think you get the idea of how far my knowledge of sound systems go !
