  2. A bit of an update,it's took me about 13 years and 158k,but I've finally got in the 200k club The odometer reading is what I've done on a fuel tank ! Over 1/2 a tank left,read it and weep Vr owners lol
  3. I did remove my column when I did mine,as I was swapping the column to a fixed one It's not a long job to drop the column,IIRC the UJ wasn't a five minute job ! Fiddly. comes to mind
  4. I have one similar to this Goes between filter and housing,needs a longer bolt,but is easily split and cleaned out ! (I bought it from Demon Tweeks years ago,and on my "other car !) but it does work

  13. If your using silicone hoses,use this first [ATTACH]80198[/ATTACH] It never goes off,but helps seal the hose,I've had no leaks since using it

  18. Wow, Thanks for posting,instead of the type 9 box,you could have gone straight to a T5 box with Quaife internals,or is it a larger box then the type 9 ?

  20. When you get a replacement screen,it comes with a rubber "bonded" to the screen,this all gets bonded to the car,and then a an outer rubber (2) gets put around it,to keep it looking tidy ! The problem is,the rubber that's bonded to the screen,can't be bought.independently !
  21. We did have a thread about this very thing ! BUT,they wouldn't be supplied with the very important rubbers,somebody sourced some (I think) America,which made the price extortionate. I would be up for a screen,if it comes with the rubber moulded to the screen
