A bit of an update,it's took me about 13 years and 158k,but I've finally got in the 200k club The odometer reading is what I've done on a fuel tank ! Over 1/2 a tank left,read it and weep Vr owners lol

I did remove my column when I did mine,as I was swapping the column to a fixed one It's not a long job to drop the column,IIRC the UJ wasn't a five minute job ! Fiddly. comes to mind

I have one similar to this Goes between filter and housing,needs a longer bolt,but is easily split and cleaned out ! (I bought it from Demon Tweeks years ago,and on my "other car !) but it does work

So many on here look down their noses at the 20vt conversions, Mine looks factory fitted,nearly twice the power it left the factory with.And 50 to the gallon on a good run What's not to like !

If your using silicone hoses,use this first [ATTACH]80198[/ATTACH] It never goes off,but helps seal the hose,I've had no leaks since using it

Wow, Thanks for posting,instead of the type 9 box,you could have gone straight to a T5 box with Quaife internals,or is it a larger box then the type 9 ?

When you get a replacement screen,it comes with a rubber "bonded" to the screen,this all gets bonded to the car,and then a an outer rubber (2) gets put around it,to keep it looking tidy ! The problem is,the rubber that's bonded to the screen,can't be bought.independently !

We did have a thread about this very thing ! BUT,they wouldn't be supplied with the very important rubbers,somebody sourced some (I think) America,which made the price extortionate. I would be up for a screen,if it comes with the rubber moulded to the screen
