  4. He sells both sizes,make sure you get the 70l ones, He used to have a pic of my straps on my car,advertising them,wouldn't had been so bad,but I made mine,and he didn't ask my permission to use my car in the ad ! There is nothing wrong with the ones he sells,he's sold enough of them
  5. Yes,all the later cars had the 70l tank, There is a guy on eBay selling stainless straps if you want go that way

This company will recondition it http://www.pastparts.co.uk/ They will bore it out and line it with a stainless steel tube Or buy a newer clutch pedal(available from classic parts) And two little clips, If your interested in going this route,I'll post the part numbers,if it's my money,I'd re-con it They did my ABS mastercylinder

  9. I can't use tapatalk on my iPhone,I've tried deleting it,and re-instating it,to no avail ! But for some reason,it works ok on my iPad
  10. For rust removal,you can't beat a 4" grinder with a "cupped" wire brush ! Make sure you use goggles and gloves

I thought I'd update this, Done close to a thousand miles on the mastercylinder,no problems,brakes are as good as ever,(if not better) The cylinder that went to JLSpares still hasn't come back,I ring them every two weeks,Pastparts is the company to use. Haven't had the ABS unit reconditioned yet,(I put a good second hand one on) but I will update when I finally get round to doing it
  16. It's could be this [ATTACH]79919[/ATTACH] They are the same part in each door,you could swap them over,this will tell you if the part is faulty or not ! Good luck

  18. Early and late bottoms have different part numbers, But are exactly the same ! I have both,could take pics if you want proof

  20. The Vr ABS unit is different to the other Corrado's, so make sure you check part numbers first (easily seen )
  21. Go the whole Hog, Buy a pre 60's car and be tax and MOT exempt
  22. I forecast a lot of people not taxing there cars ! I don't live near any towns or cities,I drive 15 miles to work,and not one camera ! What stops people just leaving non taxed cars on the road ? There is still ways around not registering a car in your name. When my mate was a community officer,one of his jobs was checking parked cars for tax, Just my 2p

  24. Saw a gorgeous pearl effect green in Tonbridge tonight,LHD passenger saw me first (at junction) exchanged waves,I think I won the shine off ! lol
