Are these discs of interest? http://www.clubgti.com/FORUM/showthread ... ost1892351

I'm sure he will have been offered more than that to consider it a good offer

Mines colour coded, but even the freshest chrome badges are quite a poor finish. So black, colour code or deletion is increasingly the way forward
-
Thankyou :salute:
-
Do you have a link to the ebay seller?
-
Really like this car, I think you've found yourself a cracker there 8)
-
That doesn't seem to bad, anyone know how much they are now? Does the motor come with a new fuse/resistor or is this a separate part?
-
Time well spent :salute:
-
wheels off, inner arches given a quick wipe over
-
like this?
-
Gave the underarches a quick wipe over and now that this dirty little job is done I think I can leave the tinkering for this year. A good wash and if its lucky a swift once over with the polishing rag and I should be all set to enjoy the rarified atmosphere of Standford Hall in a few weeks and the rest of the Summer too Quick try of rim too, be rude not to.

Sounds great have you gone for the one piece rims with the extruded spokes? (like Bally's) I hope so would love to see a set on a silver Corrado. Great choice on the lights was worried for a minute you'd gone for some aftermarket tat
-
What wheels and lights have you gone for? Have you considered reinstating the black side mouldings, I think the sides can look a little bland and lack definition without them on a Silver car, really looking forward to watching this progress.

Just been for my MOT, quite a stress free experience, when they got it up in the air and saw all the recent work underneath they realised it wasn't worth pulling and poking, it just sailed through with the obligatory piss taking in my direction :dorky:

Hi Dave, good to have you on here with a stunning looking Corrado  Looks like a very rare find indeed, low mileage, beautiful condition and a baragain to boot. Would love to have a look at it sometime.
-
In a short drag race mine has comfortably outpaced a 4motion and kept pace with a MK4 R32, power to weight
-
Dave? Thats one clean car you've found!
-
Looks a superb example and beautifully presented

I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea, my car is certainly not faultless or indeed concours clean. The idea is to create a cohesive whole look for the car which idealy looks remarkably clean and well preserved for its age, but its nice to have that period patina of age about the car. I dont want it to look freshly rebuilt or restored. So please be gentle if you ever see it.
