Unless you have more than one and the other is a fine concours example of course

My only vehicle related accident/injury occurred in a Frog Eye, entering a ditch and hedge as a passenger with no side windows or seat belts hurts

Chequer plate Body kits Number plates randomly positioned and secured as an afterthought having smoothed the stock location.

With the Corrado now approaching 15 years since production ended and the numbers of cars diminishing all the time is the future of the model to treat it as an increasingly rare modern classic rather than the platform for a custom car. I certainly hope so, I know this forum is thankfully largely a sensible restrained grown up environment but you never get complete agreement on any given subject in life. My assertion is that the Corrado was very desirable out of the box and as the years go buy i'd much rather see a clean standard example than a custom creation in what is often a style representing a transitory fad. I'm all for improvements, upgrades and modifcations but prefer to stay faithfull to the original concept. So for instance I believe that to lower the ride height and upgrade the suspension is vital to do the car justice but many other changes are less desirable and I increasingly find myself finding many customised examples very unappealing. I'm interested to hear what people think, to start the ball rolling i'll list a couple of things that I personally don't like to see please add your own thoughts. Debadged grilles Crystal lights/indicators/angel eyes Two tone colour schemes

Looking very sorted now, you and KIP should call a truce on each other though as between you you have 2 of the finest concours Corrado VR6s in the country and the few others are seldom seen. Love the care you both put into your cars

Are they sourcing the SP 263 cams for you? Do they stock them?

I knew they'd look superb on your car far more impactive than on mine 8)

Its 250 of each colour -
Well the car just doesn't feel or look like my own on anything other than the RS 301s, for me they are the only wheel that 'work' on the car. So this afternoon the BBS RXs found a new home with a Corrado owner off this forum, can't wait to see them fitted i'm certain they'll look great on a different colour car 8) So famous last words but i've given up the search for wheels and its staying on RS all the time, time to split and rebuild the black set now..
-
its true the pics of mine are lowered on the 17s and stock ride height on 16s. Either way I don't own either set any longer so thats one less silver Corrado you'll see on RX11
-
I think they look great in 17" Not so sure in 16"
-
speedlines! do we all agree they are the best wheels?
OSV replied to marmite monster's topic in General Car Chat
I have to agree [/quote:3nl9o2pt] You are both clearly insane, absolutely nothing could look better on Steve's nugget Corrado than those stunning LMs. -
Do you have any carriers for the 288 set up on their own?
-
looking fresh and fruity on the Schmidts 8)
-
OK Karl Just to keep you amused. On top of the set of Speedlines that came with the car we have:- Speedlines 15" x 2 sets BBS RX2 16" Anniversary wheels x 1 set BBS RX2 17" x 1 set RH ZW1 17" x 1 set Azev A 17" x 3 sets (Brand new) BBS RX 17" x1 set BBS RS 301 17" x 6 sets  (Although one set is reaccquired)
-
That's simply far too many and suggests great indecision, examples of unnecessary purchasing of less than perfect choices and some absolutely killer wheel choices too keep up the good work

In essence I think you're right but as I understand it the cheaper ones are plated but the INOX have a stainless steel body hence better corrosion resistance.
