  1. I know what you mean, I can't believe you didn't get a copy on Thursday when it came out, I take it your paperboy comes on Saturday. I was lucky and got a copy through the post.
  2. Thats exactly what I did for the photoshoot
  3. Thanks for all the generous comments :D
  4. OK the cat's out of the bag! Performance VW have featured my Corrado and the feature, editorial comment and pictures are superb. I'm really grateful to Elliott for his sympathetic write up and enthusiasm for what is probably the least modified car ever to grace their pages. Postive references to the Corrado forum, and i'm only 41 for the record.
  5. Its coming up, its coming up, its there (well nearly)
  6. There was talk of 7.30am :cuckoo:  but i'll confirm and let you know :afro:

    My Wheel Dilemma

That is just the very best dilemma to have, can't offer any advice but whatever you decide they're both stunning
  8. Yeh i'm going down VIP style in an Audi A8 luxury barge, weathers to rough at the moment for my precious
  9. The clue is READ (and maybe look at pictures too! LOL)
  10. Sailed through its MOT today without any problems, just got to love it!
  11. I can't comment on that car, but really good examples are few and far between and you get what you pay for. I almost gave up looking before I found mine three and a half years ago and it can't have got any easier and you certainly wouldn't get a car as good as Bill Aitkens or Paul Kippaxs for as little as £7,000.
  12. This is an excellent project now its going full on, can't wait to watch it progress.

    My new Coupe'

Great work Darren. I'm dying to get my hands on a TT and give it a once over like yourself. Sadly it means the Corrado will have to go to fund the TT. I hate selling cars but its staying if I can't get a proper price. What offsets are you running with adaptors fitted?
  14. Some big news soon, read all about it!
  15. Certainly £6K, well specc'd genuinely good examples are increasingly hard to find
  16. Riley IIRC your 2 main problems with the Corrado came about because of electrical items that you fitted incorrectly causing the problems and making them hard to diagnose. Of course they are challenging they are getting older but keep things in perspective.
  17. Most speed enforcement is carried out by authorised civillians now, the only question is whrther you were caught.
  18. It is possible but not all 16s fit, options are limited
  19. The cut lips works much better, sets of the car, the all black didn't do any favours.

    8x17 offset help.

Et 30 is probably the absolute limit on 8x17 without arch work and even that will need work if you go v. low. ET 35 on 8s is safer
  21. Here's one a friend of mine owns with side exit exhaust and a set of mad rare wheels, but can you guess what they are?
  22. I agree the 4Mo is a good car, my mate bought this car from the dealers in mid 2005 for £11,000 and sold it to another friend only months later for £9K he kept it a few months and let it go for £6.5K inc new tyres on Santa Monicas, the car had leather Recaros, climate everything and was low mileage too. Plenty of car for the money but not as unique or involving as a Corrado.
