Excellent, looks in great order, tell us more!
-
There was a guy in Germany selling them on Ebay, can't recall his details i'm afraid.
-
I'm running the standard OE TT fit discs and pads, that product sounds spot on but you can probably get the 288s or 312mm complete for less. I paid £250 for brand new discs, pads, callipers and carriers.
-
You can get rid of the spongy feeling its just that people don't bleed the system properley after fitting, bleed the master cylinder and ABS, my 312mm are awesome and firmer than the 280s were too!
-
312mm of a TT, MKIV etc gives best performance at an affordable price and OE too. Use the search function there are several threads.
-
The brake change to MK3 288mm, MKIV or TT spec is to improve braking not allow more choice of wheel fitment. Most 17s will fit OK but as RS4s are copies and non OE I can't say for certain but I believe they fit OK

Congratulations on buying such an excellent Corrado, together with A20LEE, they are the UKs favourite modded Corrados. I'm not sure i'd rush into making any changes to 'make it your own' although quite restrained and carefully thought out and executed this car is very individual. The colour is unique amongst Corrados as its a Porsche colour, and the engine, dash, and interior makes the car instantly recognisible to anyone who has ever seen it or pics of it. Don't be talked into changing the wheels, they are excellent and a quick change won't hide the cars identity. Stick your plate on it and enjoy after all you wouldn't have bought it if you didn't like the way it looks. and perhaps slip on a charger
-
Its the new owner who claimed its the best in the UK or even the world, but he shouldn't be criticised for that its a tremendous car and he clearly loves it already.

Just after getting my Corrado I trial fitted a friends Azev As to my car for a quick look see. A classic wheel I thought they suited the Corrado well but my heart was set on BBS RS301s. Now strangely enough there is a myth that these wheels will not clear the brakes on a VR, well that may be true for 7.5s but the 8s fit with more room to spare than i've ever seen. Over the years I have received numerous pm requests for picture proof of this so these are clearly a popular choice but not often seen in 17s on a Corrado. Anyway the chance arose to buy a set recently and I couldn't resist, here is a pic proving they fit and what is more I have a 2nd full brand new unused set of 4 wheels complete with locking flush centre caps and all the wheel bolts available if anyone is interested.

8x17 ET30 I have a 10mm spacer for the back too!
-
I think you're confusing me with someone else, all I have are BBS splits
-
Oh yes, nice clean 5 spoke very reminiscent of the OE Speedline too! :-P
-
I was thinking Jays car would be perfect for A20LEE as he doesn't love the S3 and Jay's car is the best of bost worlds. However he would have cornered the market in custon Corrados.

Will I sell my Rado?? 24v V6 - PVW Cover Car Jan 06
OSV replied to 24V Renshaw's topic in General Car Chat
Superb car, no question top engineering too, make sure you're doing the right thing before you decide to sell that car is unique. Congratulations on the Class Win at Santa Pod, how did you go on on the quater mile? What would the new project be? -
The guy in Blackburn is Paul Jordan and the Rocco can run an 11.5 quarter mile! So I guess a Rocco 20VT works pretty well
-
Yes, but many have been removed, its only fastened with adhesive
-
I was only there on the Saturday, but seems to be back on track you'll never please everyone but the location has huge potential and I for one enjoyed it.
-
ah, but are they much brighter
-
Retro fit HID Zenon lighting, has anyone used this product or heard reviews. Seems quite interesting, potential for a group buy perhaps if its as good as it sounds. http://www.hids4u.co.uk/default.asp

Agreed this looks excellent, but its far more than simply a flushed bumper its a whole package, it is far more successful on dark cars.
-
I think it looks clean, but it doesn't look right too flat and bland IMO
