Thanks for the kind words, I appreciate it. Fingers crossed car is how I want it now with just the option of swapping the wheels over to give it a slightly different look from time to time. Agree about photographs not doing the car justice, I believe the car looks far better in the metal  but I'm sure a skilled photographer would fare bettter than I have.

Fronts will end up ET minus 6 and the rears ET 0 with 20mm spacers. You need some serious arches to get them under and deep pockets.
-
I love the RX2s as wheels in their own right but I agree they aren't perfectly suited to my car, they look great on a darker coloured C however. I got them for everyday use to fit over the 312mm brakes. However I will sell them on if I can find a suitable alternative, was thinking Azev As perhaps but will need 8x17 ET30 which may be a tad wide up front with the car now sitting lower.
-
You either love them or hate them

It's only the rears that are different, being a half inch wider dish making 8x17 ET27, they are still tucked under though, so not too outrageous just fill the arches a little more. Cheers re house, fingers crossed.
-
Wheels fitted now, fill the arches a little more too, quick pic from the rear.

H8RRA- a 'mate' snaps your bottom chain-what do you do?

I spoke to this guy in Austria at Wortersee 2005 or at least someone who had used the product and recommended them, these are the ones I was trying to source. Perhaps a German speaker can arrange the group buy. This was the car he had, he told me to check out ARZ.

I'm now 585mm front and 595mm rear

Recently passed MOT, now fully serviced and lowered a little more. Roll on Summer!

I had my annual service today at Dubsport. Brakes bled and superb feel out of 312mm now from bleeding mastercylinder and ABS. Suspension lowered and checked. Clean bill of health. 8)

OK. For anyone experiencing poor brake pedal feel after completing the 312mm upgrade help may be at hand. My brake set up uses all OE pads and discs and a MKIV rear calliper upgrade and stainless hoses throughout. Since my upgrade my pedal feel has been less than convincing despite a thourough bleed on set up but it did improve after bedding in but was far from good. I spoke with Jeff Webb at Dubsport who explained that in order to bleed the brakes thouroughly it can be necessary to bleed valves on the ABS and brake mastercylinder. This has now been done and I now have the brakes I always wanted. Thanks to Jeff. You may wish to consider this if you have similar problems. :afro:

I'd go Tan/Orange if starting with a blank canvas on a pearlescant green car.
