Yeh on the later Corrado with the plus suspension the 7.5 inch wheels fill the front arches very well, I got my dishes from Germany but I wanted genuine BBS aftermarket rims are easy to find or I can pass you details.
-
I have 2 sets of RS301s at the moment, 1 set is totally standard and original 7.5x17 ET33 the other set are black centre with chrome bolts and polished rims with the rears built up to 8" ET 27 using a genuine BBS 1" dish.
-
Any guesses where my car is as we speak? As an 8" wheel they will be 8x17 ET27

Had my Supersprint with Stailess backbox on for over 2 years now, I fully endorse Kev's comments excellent performance, looks fit and finish.

The channel island STORM with the Schrick and BBS RCs has less IIRC belongs to Radostormvr6 on this forum.

Try one of the adustable rubber band tools which tighten and grip without damage should work a treat.

In reality the enjoyment of owning and driving these cars is their real value. In real world terms almost all will deprciate and very few if any will return you a worthwhile profit regardless of spec.
-
I think you are probably doing the right thing to be a STORM they need to be stock.

Biggerbigben - Golf sold.. another new project!

It has to be bodycoloured, you've certainly made a good job of cleaning up the bay but for cream etc to work it all needs smoothing and flushing too. In any event bodycoloured will still work best. -
Sorry couldn't resist, but you are crazy and are rewriting the book on building a Corrado show car in the process, keep it coming!

I'm glad this discussion is developing and although the poll suggests the vote being strongly in favour of a combined Forum/Club a quick look at the numbers once again shows apathy. Very few forum members have actually voted or are regularly active. I try to take a positive view of CCGB and don't just take the view what do I get frim IT. The idea is that the more who contribute and get involved the more can be done, only with resources and enthusiastic help can the Club be strong, at least we aren'y suffering from multi brand or model rivalry. There is only ONE Corrado Forum and ONE CCGB.

Can't be done in one spacer apparently due to the way they line up?
-
No, need 2 sets of slim adaptors,4x100-5x100-then-5x100-5x112 not recommended.
-
Would you be interested in some 5x112 Passat fitment OZ Opera2 monoblocks, newly refinished in anthracite metallic and diamond cut rim to help fund the BBS

pkripper's red G60- A few shots after a wax last week.

That's the best formula on a Corrado, its looking really good, can't go wrong with red rears and the wheels are one of the few styles and qualty that genuinely suit a Corrado :rainbowafro: -

They will in 8x17 ET30 -
I think very many people would like to see a unified Corrado owners Club/Forum. Whilst I can't speak for the stake holders in both organisations I am happy to be part of both.Perhaps a vote poll would at least gauge interest and perhaps seek to dispell the suggestion that there is a reluctance to adopt a more joined up approach.
