Hello Ubbs! How the heck did you find me on here! LOL They certainly do get under your skin and this one is a little special, still remember my drive back from Bradford those many years ago, absolute joy/BLAST. So thank you for selling it and buying an S3 (what were you thinking ;)) I will definitely be in touch if I am up Leeds way. Currently working in Derbyshire but living near Oxford at the moment, so if you are down Oxford way please also feel free to drop by. Just been to pick car up from DG Autotech today and Graham has got her running like a dream again. Turns out the ECU had gone faulty and was holding one of the injectors open, so bad but not as bad as the possible head gasket failure I thought it could have been. Had the injectors cleaned at same time, rear ABS sensors replaced as they were on the blink, a service and a new battery. Finally have a garage again so she is back where she belongs :) -
Does sound a bit like ISV, get some carb cleaner on it and see if that helps

LV wouldn't insure me as car is not quite 20 years old yet! So went with Classicline, seemed a helpful bunch and included road assistance FOC
-
Insurance - the ONLY good thing about getting old..... :( Will contact LV, thanks :)

I was waiting for the price bashing Kev ;) LOL I figure: VSR £1250 Wheels £1000 Cams etc £300 other stuff £500+ Then as a standard pretty mint VR6 with Recaros and 85k on the clock £4000 And you can have the Corrado but for £6.5k :D
-
How cheap....... :)

Hi Want to put the Corrado on a classic policy and just had a quote of £260 from Classicline which seems ok Age 39 Good postcode Garaged 3000 miles Mods declared breakdown £250 excess £75 windscreen Agreed value £6500 Seems pretty good price, but I am getting on a bit now and wondered what others were paying to save me phoning around everywhere :D Thank you Matt

Its a twin scroll single turbo so although it doesn't make much more than 380bhp with a new cooler and pipes its the way it picks up from a 1000rpm that's the beauty. And if you like DSG the ZF 8 speed box is peachy. Although I preferred the manual. Auto was a bit busy on the paddles.... -
LOL Forgot to mention she also reversed her car into the garage wall last week, 2 days before trading in her Golf GT tdi against a new Leon FR and then the next day got a puncture (possibly her fault, who knows may have run over a Unicorn...)

Good work with the haunting :D I thought there would be turbo kits a plenty for the R32? Always remember seeing that Mk4 R32 on you tube years ago murdering the guy in the BMW Z4. M135i is the car to have, reminded me of the Corrado a little. Massive awesome powertrain in a small Hatch :) -
I persuaded my missus that Unicorns were alive and happily living in India the other week. She even started looking into flights and accommodation. I had to come clean as she started telling people at her works that she was going on holiday to see the Unicorns! Figured she might get sectioned and lose her job LOL

Hello! :D BMW was the natural progression from the ED30 I had. Need to do a few motorway miles now and there is/was no other car that offered the practicality, petrol performance/noise and + 30mpg and + 300bhp ;) -

No, good car for doing the miles and a 'nice diesel' engine to boot :D Lets be honest they get under your skin the old Corrado, nice old school handling and amazing noise. That and they arent worth selling at the moment anyway ;) LOL If I had bought the E30 M3 Evo I just missed out on 13 years ago before purchasing the VR it would be up for sale at Bonhams auction house before you could say "new house deposit" :D Glad you are still on here still and in a C :) -
Wowsers that is CLEAN. Nice work Comps for me wheel wise, but RC's are always a classy option :)

It is quite 'nippy' from a mere 1500 rpm As ever the lure of the remap is strong though LOL Hope you are well :) -

Silver was the only colour I could get! Do they do other colours? It is a manual 335i and not a 320D auto at least ;) Is that right you don't have a Corrado anymore? Hope all is well with you and this lovely mad house -
