  1. When in doubt, deny, deny, deny! [video=youtube_share;1__MPUKhZ4I]
  2. I just got one for "Chat with single Armenians". What the hell? That's incredibly specific and why on earth Armenians?
  3. Just wondering if anyone has a green storm that was first registered in Abridge, Essex back in 95? It was the first Corrado I drove... On a test drive in 95 and nearly bought it. Just wondering if it's still around.
  4. As I said when it was being sold last time, I saw this car when C5 bought it from the previous owner in Bristol. It was a cracking car back then and that owner had it many years. I do regret not buying it at the time but my job situation changed (had the possibility to work in Singapore but it didn't happen). It was fantastic then. It's even more fantasticer now (made up word lol). Jim please buy it otherwise im going to start getting silly ideas. Like you it probably makes more sense for me to sell mine and buy this. Desperately trying not to think that way :)
  5. Shame that C5 has to go. It's a cracking car. Bristolbaron you should buy it :) I certainly hope is stays on the forum.
  6. I bet that's a relief. Happy days.
  7. Definitely RC or genuine RS get my vote. Do I spy Audioscape door pods?
  8. Oooh, late black cloth recaros. They look just like mine. Superb seats :) The movement issue might just be the switches needing to be stripped down and cleaned. It's worth swapping the switches over and trying them as a simple test. I thought the tilt levers were obsolete now?
  9. I might be interested if the above sale falls through. I need a new laptop for the kids and love MBP's :) Trying to weigh up whether a Windows based laptop would be better for them though.
  10. There are two looms for recaros: 1) The heated seat loom. This has relays. 2) The loom for the electric motor movement. There are no relays on this. It is just two wires; a live into the fuse board and an earth into a suitable earthing point. The loom for the motor movement is incredibly simple. It is literally just a live (red I think) and an earth (brown I think). The live should have a yellow 20 amp fuse. If the seats were installed at the factory then the fuse is likely to be one of the fuses on the front of the fuse board. But if, like mine, it was installed at a later date then it might be an inline fuse on the actual wire itself which might be slightly harder to locate. You don't have to worry about relays for the movement loom as there are none. So, things to check: 1) Follow the wires back to the fuse board. 2) Is there an inline fuse? Has this blown? 3) Has the live wire (likely to be red) come out of the back of the fuse board? 4) Has the earth wire (likely to be brown) come off the earthing point? 5) If all the above looks good then follow the wires back to the seats and check for any breaks. I'm no electrician but as I've installed mine then if you're really stuck then I'm happy to take a quick look if you find yourself down in Surrey :)
  11. That's a magsafe connector. It's just the slightly older style one.
  12. As above, loving the colour. Any idea which wheel's you'll be after?
  13. Has Toby been sacked yet????? Haha, only kidding. Where I work I've had my senior managers on the phone for less issues literally demanding someones neck (I'm not kidding). Seems to work fine now.
  14. I hope you tried to wheelspin the golf off the line, right in the middle if the course :D
  15. Which model is it... CPU, ram, hdd, etc? How long does the battery last? What condition is it in?
  16. www.the-corrado.net/ takes you straight to the wiki now and not to the forum. direct.the-corrado.net does managed to get to the forum though. :bonk:
  17. Thanks for the tip with the hacksaw and bolt. About 30 mins ago I happened to be under the car looking at that exact thing :)

    new here

Welcome to the forum. Im sure someone on here can help. Where abouts are you located and any pics of the car? :)
  19. You have to take a day off work and pay for the course (around £80 or £90 if I recall). Then spend the day in a classroom listening to the risks of speeding, etc.
  20. I'd missed the lack of MOT. That will knock a lot off. Very few cars are worth £5k now. It's extremely rare.
