    Lowest here is 95 Lanny.. heh... I believe Super Unleaded is your best bet for your '89 16v joe.. as some other guys have already said, the earlier 16v engine was designed to run on 97-98RON and anything less can cause the engine to pink - and cause other problems related to that. I'd be putting Super U/L or Optimax in without a doubt. And welcome to the forum :)

    Every Corrado G60 has an intercooler.. just its a bit of a small and basic one :) If you have no reliable information and history on your supercharger, you should get it checked out as soon as possible.. if it goes pop then you are looking at about £1000 to find a new / reconditioned replacement.

    Well I think we should gauge interest with regards to forum members first, as naturally they should get priority.. Stealth Racing isn't exactly a huge place, and there wont be room for hundreds of people! :)

    Kev, Sure that 'cheesy' is gonna be happy to hear his car called a Noddy-mobile as he is on 18's! :( I'd say that 17's are about the largest I would ever go on a Corrado.. but I like all of the standard alloys on the Corrado to be honest, so if I ever got another, I wouldn't be changing the wheels :)

    Well if Stealths gear could put up with a Saxo, i'd run it for everyones amusement!! Its supposed to be putting out 98BHP so it'd be nice to see if its doing what its sposed to be doing.

    Rowland, Any chance of arranging something for a small bunch of the forum members to come down on a day of filming the next series? Always wanted to be part of the studio audience and have tried to get tickets before.. just without any success :( Plus it'd give something for Jeremy to poke fun at.. 'enthusiasts' and other people with beards ;)

    Funky, I'm definately interested in going along, but as I am still a Saxo owner (with no luck selling the fecker so far) it looks like I can't actually take part / go on the rolling road. I seriously doubt, judging by the lack of interest so far, that I am going to be a Corrado owner any time soon. So count me out of actually getting on the rolling road, but I definately want to head up as a spectator and to take some pictures :)

    Thanks Jacob. I hope you don't mind, but I also posted the link to the Corrado Database up to the Corrado Club of GB mailing list, as I thought the UK representative was a little lacking. That helped boost the numbers for us a bit :) :D

    With regards to general driving, always make sure you let the engine get up to a safe temperature before giving it any stick. Using the MFA, make sure the oil has gotten up to about 80 or 90 degrees centigrade before you go above 3000RPM / use full throttle. If you don't, you'll be putting major strain (and consequently damage) onto the engine, and it will come back to bite you on the derriere :)

    Hi Lorna and welcome to the forum. The short and skinny of it is that there are very few Corrado models around.. actual model kits are rare and often go for about £100 on eBay.. and actual die-cast or similar models are pretty uncommon. eBay really is the only place you are going to find it.. though if it doesn't look like anything is around at the moment, looks like you'll be needing to rethink your christmas plans! :)

    Never actually seen your valver before Chris.. it'd be nice to see it :) Oh, and Chris.. i've sorted out how to get avatars a lot better quality and using less space. Try the attached file out for size - should only be 16k! Make sure you save it as a .GIF file if it asks! :)

    So who from the forum is going to the EGM? Whilst not a Corrado meet in the conventional sense, it'd still be pretty cool to get a few of us together :) Andi has said he'll be going, and i'll definately be going as the heritage museum is about a 30 minute drive away for me :) Anyone else to be looking out for? Ant? Chris?? :)

    I used to own a 2.0 16v, but as I have never driven the 1.8 16v, I can't really tell you if its any better or any worse than. I believe speeds & performance are similar because where the additional power would have been gained due to engine capacity increase, it was negated by the need for a catalytic converter.
