  1. Lumpy sticks haha , cams can sometimes make a car idle lumpy ,google it or you tube lumpy idle on you tube

As swiftkid says the 2.8 4motion engines are good but thats if you want to swap engines at all As far as nasp engines go im hoping mine will be one of the faster vr's on the road with out a turbo strapped to it Run down of what im building is as follows Mk4 head gasket wich changes compression (more) Schrick 268 cams for top end Machine ported throttle with bugger butterfly Schrick manifold Were hoping for 225 bhp or more with a remap and a slightly higher rev limiter Also having a shorter final drive put in the gearbox wich after speaking to vince at stealth racing will hopefully feel like 30bhp on the road ! Obviously not on a dyno so hopefully it will jeep ip with other cars circa 250bhp maybe more maybe less

Lots of track cars popping up on here lately , the vr6 is **** to tune , you can do it but its costly amd the power gains arent massive compared to say a 1.8t 20v lump but if you chuck a turbo on a vr6 im pretty sure with he correct setups uou can see big power ,but the average turbo guy on here will tun from 300bhp up to around 450 Theres a good few threads dedicated to tuning mate
  5. Silver synta should be fine , 10/40 The oil cooler has two seals on it one big one small id start with those if its leaking

  11. Right so i might awsell replace i cant be arsed for stuff to be blowing id rather it was right first time as im pushed for time already without doing stuff twice

Cool thats a bonus then , and i asume you mean use copper grease on the studs i didnt think it would need any on as long as i wire brushed the studs , i didnt want to cause any fires with hot grease As far as bolts go iv bought new from the dealer , all the copper Nuts and the copper spacers and yea they was 50p a bolt and about 25p a washer but id rather use them than normal bolts , think there ten mm though not 13
  13. Just a quick though , can i reuse the exhaust manifild gaskets or would it be best to get new ones ? There not in bad shape and there wasnt any sealant on them or anything so can they just be used again ?

  16. If dubstar doesent want 25mm we could do a deal as iv got 20mm id swap for the 25's if thats any good
