I guess the location of the car doesn't help!
-
I'm guessing 1080kg. :D Have fun at the 'ring!

+1 I'm hopeless with spanners but another forum member who is local to me has helped me loads.

Good work! Are you going to weight it?

Awesome looking car! Edit: Kris, could you please let me know the name / details of the bodyshop? I got a dent at the front wing (from last owner) and a tiny bit of rust needed fixing but the three garages/bodyshops that I have spoken to don't give me much confidence. Fleet isn't too far, in fact the last owner of my car lives in Fleet. Thanks!

Make sure it's an Ice Grey mate! :D http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1664560.htm

Spotted again this weekend. Actually it’s parked next to a silver BMW 3-series estate; seems the VR got light colour interior (leather?), looks very tidy.

Looks fantastic, good work!

That is one seriously good looking car! Congrats!

I was in London yesterday and concluded that aircon kit is a must for Londoners! The C was exceptional though; as high as 36mpg on the motorway (@70mph cursing with burst of the odd 100mph), and got about 28mpg overall for the 200+ miles journey, which included London traffic and a few traffic jams. Water temp never got higher than 103 degrees so perfectly acceptable.

I was in his car a couple of months ago and I agree with your statement. It certainly beats my car's lofty feel (old standard suspensions, standard speedlines plus crap tyres). Don't get me wrong, my car's handling & ride ain't bad at all, but it's at the age where it could do with a few parts replacing/renewing. With the rear struct fitted, can you actually feel any real-world on-road benefit? Cheers!

Spotted two today. @12.30pm, A23(M) northbound near Crawley/Gatwick, dark colour (blue?), you were on land 1 and I was on land 3. I horned but don't think you heard me, cos there was a yellow van between us as I drove past. @3pm, another dark colour, again maybe blue/black, N-Reg, parked up next to a white vehicle (van?) in Warley, Essex. Only got a brief look as I was driving by in my Ice Grey Violet, but I think you got some after-market alloys (17"?), maybe 5-spoke Audi style? I'm visiting relatives in the area, in fact your house is about 5mins from where I am staying now! :D

Washed and waxed the car this morning with some new stuff that I got, Collinite 845. Very quick and simple to use. Also Rain X and Rain X anti-fog. No wipers upgrade required.

Ok thanks. There isn't much I can do now and my brother has already got the seat. I guess it 'should' fit ok. :)

Good work mate!

I’m picking up my brother, his missus and their two-year old this Sunday. They’ve got a car seat: http://www.kiddicare.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/productdisplayA_51_10751_-1_14568_104356_10001_14568 Anyone got the same model? Would it fit the C? I’ve no idea as I’ve never had a baby seat fitted to the C before..... Thanks!

Think someone is scoping out my car to nick it....

 Look out for a red 'rado round kemptown. (fingers crossed!) I live in Kemp Town! Have you just bought yours? I've never seen a red VR6 here, there is a red 16v by the seafront though.
