  1. If you manage to find the parts no. etc please post them here... it's save me some works when I'm upgrading mine next year. :salute:
  2. Been a ball ache but hopefully it will pay off in the end!, Still loads more to do however, does it ever end.... Let me know when it's finished so I can come and check it out! :salute:
  3. Mark, check your pm. Cheers.
  4. Mate, looks like your car is coming along nicely!
  5. So... for the best ride/handling balance, R32 fronts and OEM rears regardless whether you've got standard or aftermarket suspensions? Am I on the right track? Cheers!
  6. I've said it before but I'll say it again, beautiful job mate! Did you respray it in origional blackberry?
  7. Excellent job mate! Well done! Beautiful car! :salute:
  8. Not much happening, just some cosmetics. Before: After: Corrado forum stickers New shiny 8) VW badge & VR6 badge
  9. +1 My old car got hit by a M&S lorry while parked at home, the other party admitted full liability and the full cost of repair was recovered at their side with no loss of my no claim bonus, yet my insurance premium still increased by @£120 the next year. :censored: :censored: :censored: Good luck with yours, hope you get it sorted soon!
  10. Car has done 77k and the records don't show the engine ever been opened so. No chain work. The top tensioner ie usually the prob..get that early and chains can last well beyond 100k I see, thanks. My car has also only done 77k, but has incomplete history - one of the previously owners lost the service book; although I've got 'receipts' of all works done in the last seven years, I'm still not certain just how 'well' it was looked after . I bought the car @ eight weeks ago..... and so far all fluids have been changed plus a few parts replaced. It's nice to know that your chains and tensioner are fine as both of ours have got similar mileage. As I only do @5-6k p.a, maybe I'll have the chains and tensioner checked at the end of 2011. I'll follow your car's progress with interest! Cheers! :salute:
  11. How many miles have yours done? IIRC it's quite low right? Just want to get an idea in relation to chain/tensioner wear. Cheers!
  12. That was a classic thread.
  13. will be running around 8 psi so we are thinking close to 300bhp with the misting system fitted. Pick that up tomorrow along with the ARP bolts... Me likey!
  14. Do you know roughly how many bhp will it gain? :)

    What is this?

What is this and any reason to be concerned? It’s at the rear wheel of the driver’s side. The passenger’s side is ok; no visible rust. Thanks! Photo 0195.jpg[/attachment:m6ok8gjt]
  18. Thanks fella, if you are sellin in about a year pm me lol. I'll sell it to you for ONE MILLION DOLLARS!
  19. Not yet. Need saving up! :( You then need the 288mm upgrade and I need zenon kit. Then both get coilovers. Our cars could be twins! Except your car has leather and mine has cloth so mine is vegetarian.
  20. Tough one man! Good luck!
  21. Cheers, I agree 90mm does look better than 50mm! :D
  22. Hey Chris, You car has still got the 90mm splitter, right? With the KW V1 fitted, how does the splitter cope with sleeping policemen? Too low? Or is it just about ok? Cheers!
  23. Fook me that might well have been me! Was it in the tent area by the bridge? We were pretty damn close to the track... It’s probably you then. I only watched the last BTCC race and Porsche race so must be about 5 - 5:30pm. The Corrado was parked fairly close to the track and IIRC, there were cars parked to your right (driver’s side) but no car parked to your left, also the front of the car was pointing to the track. :D
