oh dear. is there any coolant in it? what did you oil and coolant temps get up to?

you can drive the hub out with a hammer, but this will wreck the bearings. just try and lever the abs ring straight. might be worth buying some new bearings (about £15) and a new hub (about £19 from GSF) and have them replaced.

nowt wrong with cliffords. I've had a 50x for 6 years, had it in a few cars now. currently running a top of the range avantguard G5, which I installed myself. not had a single problem with that yet either. the g5 keyfods are damn ugly though, I prefferred the old stlye. the only experience I've had with a Toad is on my mates car, and I found it very confusing to use, but that's only because I'd never read a manual for it I guess.

my ABS light is on, can't get VAG-COM to talk to it though. I know my O/S/R sensor is jiggered though.

I had the 6x4's in my old mk2. they are alright. bit tinny, but what can you expect for that size. you'll need at least 10" sub too to make the most of it.

all the small diameter hose is is the pipe from the carbon cannister intot he manifold, where the stale fuel fumes are pumped back into the manifold to be burned off. not sure why it taps into the breathe rhose, early VR6's never had it like that, they never had the flame arrestor either.
