so crinkly yellow paint on the headlights looks good to some people? ok.
-
they can say whatever the f*ck they want about my car, and they probably already have. although I do believe I never heard anyone say "R32 and 4wd in a corrado? what a load of crap, why bother doing that, to be different??" end of the day, I build my cars for me, not to get attention at car shows with some quirky styling attempts or "ironic" touches. only the first person who does it is the innovator. to copy something that's crap and utterly pointless in the first place is completely beyond me.
-
i could say the same about bright pint 14" wheels, but I'm not going to fit any to be "different"..... and there's not "individual" about it if more than one person has done it, which clearly they have.
-
they have 240BHP and they'll do 36mpg on a steady run.

Seeing this more on more on Corrado's at UK shows, horrible yellow painted or coated (or is it the bulbs?) main beam units. Took and ace pic of Bally's car today under the tree (can't post it, it's too big) sadly ruined by these silly lights. What's the deal? and why are you doing it?!? people have spent years trying to get rid of all the orange lighting on their cars to make them look better, so why start putting coloured lighting back on!?!

Cheapest one I've seen was £13K. I built my own for £7000.
-
awesome bit of kit, but not worth the money. snap one up when they're about £8K and you've got a bargain.

no point when it can be run on the factory management if you know how to wire it in. -

steve, you've crashed every car you've ever owned. correct me if I'm wrong! and if I am, you mus t list the ones you have crashed along side the ones you haven't. -
ditch the engine cover, paint the manifold to match the car, polish the rocker cover, it'll look lush
-
lest not forget that most of on here have our corrado blinkers firmly fitted....and they are nice and comfortable. some of those cars do actually drive better than a corrado. is is a possibility you know, it's in the back of your mind there somewhere, you're just choosing to ignore it. ;-)

Bought a washing machine today. the poor lads from the store had to wait for me whilst I cleared all this rubbish out of the back of the car before I could fit it in, and it dawned on me, "what IS all this rubbish doing in my car? why do I carry it around with me?" Do it, go and look at all the crap in your car, and thorw it out! you don't need it. 1 pair of VW overalls, because you never know when you may need to stop and crawl about under the car a pair of mechanics gloves some "blue roll" A bag of wheel bolts and 2 wheel spacers A fridge, yes, a FRIDGE!! to keep my red bull cool. 6 cans of red bull a 240v power inveter a 12v air pump for blowing up tyres a Tango umbrella (random!) a manumission classics CD box several VW Layerthorpe receipts. A copy of fast bikes mag last months PVW loads of receipts a print out of a drawing of the internals of a quaife 02a dog box a tie with some penguins on it a fleece a golf dash air vent several car phone chargers 2 pairs of gloves a wooly hat a spare brake/indicator bulb (and an empty packet for some other bulbs) how much crap have you got!!!?

it's a classic case of "the clarkson effect" i.e. a car is only any good if you can get it sideways a lot, and nothgin else matters,

where's those pics you sent me? get em posted up!

and the count down begins......when will it end up on it's roof!?!?! -
maybe you should offers yours up for a test feature, on tuned fwd cars?
-
at the end of the day, the corrado VR6 was never built to be a "hot hatch" like most of the cars. the integra is just oo track biased, it was bound to win in the hands of poepl like the evo writers who expect cars like that.
-
never seen a white VR before, nice!

May be coming back to the fold already......

how much you after for the 964? fancy a 4wd converted corrado shell plus lots and lots of nice parts! (including a 24v lump and quaife 6 speed box!!) as a part ex? -
I'd guess it's some sort of tool for tensioning or adjusting something?
-
i've done it before. only about 5 miles though, don't quiet roads. got a few funny looks off the school kids on the way through the village!
-
It's can't NOT be aligned really, from a side to side perspective. The syncro axle has 2 cast steel mounts which bolt onto the car where the old 2wd axle pivots used to live. this locates the whole axle. the holes are slotted slightly, but so are the 2wd ones, for adjustment by anyone who does pukka laser wheel alignment. The mount in the middle just needs a crossmember to sit under to support it. so it's getting the height of this right so the diff sits at the right angle and the prop sits inline.
-
nice progress at last. glad to see other members finally taking interest i this car too! R32 and 4wd in a Corrado, whatever gave you that idea... ;-) (that engine looks kind of familiar too.....)
-
mark, read my reply to your PM on ED36. you have to turn the engine clockwise or the tension in the chain won't be correct.
