  1. peolpe do different things with their cars, some of which totally baffles me too, but everyone's different.
  2. so you can watch TV, when you're in your car. simple as that.
  3. slighty OT, but does anyone else think that SCART connectors are the biggest bunch of sh1te going? they are IMPOSSIBLE to pug in without being able to physically see the connector and socket. Hateful things. I can't get any sound out of my in car TV either, not bothered to work it out yet though.
  4. I used to get 36mpg out of mine on a steady motorway run. under 20 if abusing it.

I wish! I'm not.....but I know someone who is seriously thinking about it....
  7. change your insurance company, not your suspension.......
  8. they do 2 roll sizes, I've have to see which one os big enough to do the rear windo. I barely used half a roll doing the sides.
  9. MAx Power Solar window tint film, Chrome. I can get it for £10 a roll. If anyone ants it speak up now as I won't be working in york after next week so I won't be able to get it.
  10. you want to see the pressure in the fuel rail. why on earth would you want to know the pressure of the fuel going back to the tank???
  11. the ugly bloke with the skin head and the big shoulders? that'll be me then. no idea why my mate decided to stick his arse into shot too.
  12. belive it of not, MAX POWER chrome tint film is quality. and it's only £10 a roll from Boyes. I've done my side windows (rear only) and I love it. Fitted it myself too, only took about an hour a side.
  13. amber bulbs still flash read. I think I put too much red on the lens, but if I put any less on they'd have looked pink.
  14. I hope you're going to saw down every tree and lampost within a 20 mile radius...........you're bound to hit one!!
  15. Elliot from PVW knows about it. then again, they were meant to feature my old mk2 VR6, but I never got it finished in time. I'd only want it in the mag if it'd go on the cover, but Lee's is probably already lined up for that, and I can't see them wanting to put 2 burgundy corrado's on the cover in the same year.........plus the publisher prefers bright cars on the cover becasue it sells magazines apparently.
  16. was anyone else expecting to see a silly wide euro wheel with a skinny tyre stretched over it?! bizarre.
  17. Rear subframe and diff and prop now on. slight problem, the powerflex bushes were too small for the vr6 subframe. luckily, I had a spare rallye one lying around so I had to spend all morning stripping and cleaning that. got it on, but the VR6 plates don't fit, so I'll have to buy some rallye ones now. anyway, the good news i that at a "sensible" ride height the camber isn't bad at all but those arches are going to need some filling they can comfortably take another 1.3/4", so I'll go for an extra 1.5", taking them up to 9"s out the back and, just for fun, I thought I'd see how low it'd go before something touched. a rather scary amount of camber, and the bracket on the rear arm that secures the flexi brake pipe digs into the rear chassis leg. I may fit a rubber limiter on top of the suspension arm to prevent that from ever happening, I wouldn't want it to bottom out and damage the brake lines. or I may move the bracket itself. interestingly, the bottom edge of the corrado wheel arch already has a dent in it to clear where the brake pipe goes..... so. camber can be excessive, but as you can see, the lower it goes, the more the wheel tucks in, so there should never be any issues with tyres catching, even with 9"s on the back.
  18. do you have an agreed value on it? if so, do you mind if I ask how much it's valued at?
  19. Have you decided how you're going to mount the engine yet? Mk4 mpounts or corrado mounts? or a bit of both?
  20. Mine still flash bright red, even with green bulbs. I have a solution though, just don't indicate when there are any police behind you..........and put your old light back on for the MOT.
  21. ahhhh. I might buy a neck off one of those then, it sounds like it fits better.
