Bin the K-JEt and got a real electronic fuel injection system in there Stick an ABF 2.0 16v manifold and fuel rail on it and buy a proper standalone management system like DTA or Emerald for example. You do NOT want that baby running lean.... My mate has a mk1 with a 16v turbo in it, it puts out 342bhp......they can be very effective engines when setup right.

Add this little lot up then 3.0 24v VR6 Cunningham Conrods JE forged pistons Lightened and balanced bottom end Grant Motorsport RSI spec head Garret GT35/40R roller bearing turbo NOS sportsman fogger nitrous kit R32 02M 6 speed (4.24 final drive you see) Haldex 4wd we are talking 700-800bhp at the wheels.. in a stripped out mk2 golf. which I'm aiming to keep under the 1000Kg's mark. watch this space.......

if it says it needs 20A, then it needs 20A. runa new power feed into the car using suitable rated cabling, fuse it within 12" of the battery. use the same sized earth wiring and mount that to a proper earth point inside the car. if you can't find one then make one. if you just plug it into your iso conenctor as soon as you crank up the bass and volume it'll draw too much current for the corrado wiring system to take. it'll either blow the fure (if it's still got a 10a in it that is) or it'll overload the wires and could cause a fire.

Well, they had a box at the autosport show, with about 8 differnt units in it, from all sorts of manufacturers. and they had all been subjected to the same salt test. they were all f*cked, rotten, corroded solid. except the KW's which were still pretty clean.
-
Yes, INOX-line are the blingin stainless ones that don't corrode. I'll see what they'll do me 10 sets for.
-
Now, comsidering I don't paricualry like blue corrados OR BBS's, I think that looks f*cking ace! front wheels need to be wider or spaced out, or even the suspension raised up, the filled front bumper looks wrong too. otherwise, gorgeous looking car. and a testament to just how damn good looking the corrado isw ith few mods.

Numbers affect the price. gimme numbers, I go get price.

I'll get the designs off to them as soon as I can make up a mockup and get them a rough drawing

Will V6 4motion Haldex gearbox fit a 20v engine ????
PhatVR6 replied to biggerbigben's topic in Drivetrain
I have an R32 clutch if you want to buy that? My mate has a flywheel off an audi A3, i'll see if they fit together with the 02m box, they should do. -
Can I just mention again that I have an R32 setup in the classifieds section. Same calipers as the late S2, just with 330mm discs and bigger carriers to suit.

I've heard the passat g60 syncro had a different ARB becasue of the self levelling rar suspension?
-
yes it did, it said the idle stabilisation limits had been exceeded. clean out the throttle body, intake boot and ISV with carb cleaner.
-
yes, and so is the golf 4 motion one.
-
Use a V5 gearbox. it's got a 3.94 in it :-)

Look what I did today...........(few more pics 16/1/05)

Turn2 (USA) Cold Air Intake (CAI) system for the VR6
PhatVR6 replied to martyjmcfly's topic in Suppliers Forum
My US contact knows the guy at Turn2, I can get you one no problem. -
aye, none of that malarky. No cutting or welding required. I want it to bolt to the rad like the factory G60 one does.

http://www.forgemotorsport.co.uk You aren't going to get a quality item like this for £300 I wouldn't have thought. But, I will see, you never know. The more I order, the cheaper they will be.
-
Not sure yet, he can't really give me a price until I give him the design. A second hand rallye on is going to set you back anywhere between £300-£500.......IF you can find one. Wouldn't you much rather spend the money on one that's going to look better, be more efficient, and last longer? gotta be better than just chucking in one off a merc van or something.

I've been talking to Forge motorsport today. They have accepted my offer for me to design an intercooler to be a direct fit in a mk2 golf or corrado perfect for a G60 or 1.8T. The idea being that it'll be a factory quality fit, but be made to the highest standards by one of the best respected names in the industry. There will also be an option to add a Samco hose kit to this to which will fit straight on, no messing. Would anyone on here be interested in purchasing such an item? It's just that I'd probably have to give a minimum order of about 10 before they will entertain the idea of making them exclusively. It will be at least as big as a Golf Rallye intercooler, which are rare to find second hand, and fetch up to £500 a go even in used form. I can also offer a fitting service for this too.

Ok guys, anyone interested in a group buy on KW Inox line stainless steel coilovers? Been talking to the woman today at Autosport, and it looks like I can get 10% off retail. Register your interest and I will get some prices off them. Off the top of my head they were about 880Euros for a set, roughly. that's retail.

not quite! (but almost ;-) )
