Doesn't look like a bad little project and you can't grumble at that price 8) I also have a few bits left over if you want them - orig grill with black badge, rear number plate plinth (w/ all the clips!) + anything else I can find if of any use... I also left a KR cam at the phirm which we never got around to fitting - wonder if thats the one!?! You deffo work at the best place in the UK to get bit's and pieces sorted and I'm sure it won't be long before the new C is looking like a stunner! Look forward to seeing this progress!

Looks good - think the morrors would tie in better if the lower 2 slats on the grill were golss black too... would look very deliberate then 8)

Have you gone for a Racing?
-
Really nice condition! 8)
-
Looks good... have always thought these rims look better with flat center caps though ;)
-
Very nice mate! Thats pretty much what I have in mind but if the finances are good enough then I'd be wanting a 993 8)

Love the racing puma but normal ones are totally ghey as already said...

Cheers feela - they really are a lot of fun! Ours is a 1.4 petrol and has done 44K but still slightly more expensive to tax than your diesel although still worth the money! Would love to have ours detailed - would benefit from a good session with a PC but at the same time the paint is really good for 6 years old! It's only had 2 previous owners and they've obviously cared for it :D Quite an underestimated motor IMO - your's must be great with the re-map!

um... thanks, I think! All part of getting old I guess - life on the straight and narrow! I'll be a married man in less than 7 weeks and it was never going to be ideal having the Mrs using my weekend toy as a daily! All I can say is that she's very chuffed with her new motor and whilst it may still be novelty factor I almost prefer it to the Leon! Better stereo and build quality and I keep feeling like I have to justify having the power of the Leon when I spend most of my time sat in traffic... Will most likely keep the LCR for another year (until next bonus) then opt back in to the company car scheme (keeping an eye on the new Passat Coupe) and what I have left from the extra dough will go into a new weekend toy... maybe VW (prob VR6) but if I have enough I think I'll be headed for the Porsche stable 8)

Few pics from todays cleaning effort 8)

RALGAYPINK, would suit your car well ;)

Correct-a-mundo! Yeah we picked up a nice little 51 reg Audi A2 - quite an underated car IMO! Good MPG, pretty nippy for a 1.4, tardis like space inside and the stereo is way better than anything I've heard in a standard car! The Mrs is chuffed to bits with it and loves the panoramic roof! It'll most likely stay standard for now but we'd like to change the wheels at some point... So my main toy is the LCR for now and I'm planning to start spending on some go faster bits and peices once the finances recover from the impending wedding and honeymoon :D And you're right Walsey - look out for the Golf this weekend at RTTS

The mk1 is no more... went off with a nice lad from Devon on Tuesday night and I'm sure it'll be much loved! He's planning to take it to Run to the Sun in a couple of weeks so keep your eyes pealed if you're down there! Will get some pics of the replacement once it's clean again - maybe not to everyones taste but still VAG and would look great on some BBS RS301's ;)

Few people atr work have ordered them and tbh they're not all that bad - although not my cup of tea but then what do I know ;)
-
Yes... also a re-post from quite a while back ;)
-
My money is on it being a 24mm tbh.. was the same in my mk1, cab and C ;)

I saw that mate! Sounds a lot like the new owner is claiming credit for your hard work though - unless the mag mis-understood what they were told :?

'lo and welcome 8) -
too good to be true... however, if say a number of us went to see it with maybe a grand between us it would make it much harder for the scammer to blag us! I'm in for £100 - just need another 9 ;)

Generaly we don't encorage this type of 'whats my C worth?' thread as it can be seen as way of getting around the selling guidelines! The easiest thing to do is put a for sale ad up in the normal way and gauge the interest, adjusting your asking price if need be... seems like you already have a fair idea on what you'd like anyway! You shouldn't have much of a problem selling as the weather is begining to get a bit better, prices seem to be picking up a little and your Storm has nice low miles! :) Best of luck selling and also with the new house!

Good choice of wheels mate - it's going to look awesome once they're on 8)

Lovely car mate! I like those rims a lot too... a lot of the SCN guys have fitted them to their Leons which looks cool! Planning to replace the Rivage in the spring so may just have to look into A4's now 8)
