Well fingers crossed for you fella! I'm sure if vince is running them on another car they will be spot on with the C too! I admire you for sticking it out with this one tbh... I certainly wish I had your patience with our Golf 8)
-
Black angel eyes for the front and these would look amazing on a green C IMO... Also, if you're thinking about doing an HID conversion too then check this sellers ebay shop out for the lowest price HID's I've seen! Just ordered a set of the H7's for the Leon and have only heard good things about the performance from other members on seatcupra.net 8)

Good stuff Jim... am sure you'll see a drastic improvment with them! What sort of ride height do you expect with this set up?
-
If it's already cracked and you're planning to replace the glass then smash it and remove all the remaining glass and sealant... not sure what you should do if it's not broken though - don't think you can run a craft knife round the out side of it :?
-
Very good price! Got me thinking now 8)

Given the current market I doubt you'd get much more than £3.5K... -
fack me that is horrid! Why buy a new one of those when you can pick up a nice C VR for less 8)

Would have been made while cars were being sold on N plates but would have been unregistered until the P plates were released... only a very few P plates about though so nice and rare and deffo one of the last ones to be sold in the UK! Shame it's an auto though :?

Very nice of you to buy a merc for your mate!!! I did similar with Skoda in Aldershot... sales guy kept me waiting for over 30 minutes, failed to acknowledge me and when he eventualy had a spare moment he went off to chat to his mate! I walked after giving a peice of my mind to their service manager (who was a nice chap and very understanding) Best bit was when the sales guy phoned a couple of weeks later and I was only too happy to inform him that I'd decided against the VRS and had just bought the LCR! Tw@ Having said that I wouldn't recommend Wiltshire and Sons Seat dealership in Farnham either but thats another story... over all I wouldn't say I'm overly impressed with VAG dealers in general but Guildford VW have always been pretty good to me

Don't think Ian ever had a problem with them - did you try telling the nice constable that they were on the car when you got it?
-
are they all going to come with that lovely bra too  tbh I don't think it's a bad thing that cars have become more subtle in their stying! When I first got the Leon I was a bit worried that it was still a bit too in your face but after living with it for a year I feel that it blends in quite nicely until you notice the big wheels and body kit - any more lairy and I'd be worried about leaving it anywhere! Think the grey paint also helps - yellow ones are just too in your face IMO 8)

Looking good fella! Not sure your rear pads are making full contact with the disc though...
-
Cheers for the info fella - think that by the time I bought the 710 and then the extra for the US map I may as well just bite the bullet and get the 910 for the extra £26... will probably have to wait until the end of Jan before we get one ordered though so I guess I'll just have to see what the prices are like then!
-
Think thats the window control module you can hear behind the rear drivers side panel.. Could be a dead motor? Only realy way to find out will be to get the door card off and rig a 12v feed direct to the motor then work from there :?

Looks more like aqua blue pearl to me too...

Bound to be an oil burner tbh as this is what most people opt for when ordering company cars and my guess is thats what most new lagunas will end up being... My excess is £250... brings the cost of my poilicy down a bit 8)
-
Just stay away from Clifford IMO... Circa £250 seems to be the right ball park for an alarm including removal of the old one! Don't know who to recommend in the Bristol area though but if you're up near Guildford at any point Ian Banning have always done a good job on my cars 8) EDIT: and you don't need any extras to add the full closure as the C already has this - they just need to program it to send the 'lock' command for long enough to close windows and sunroof - 30 secs IIRC
-
You say that but it's still less than the excess on my own policy
-
Have it delivered to your work?
-
Just booked mine although reading the small print it does say you must have a clean licence - I have 3 points so don't know if that will stop play or not... will fail to mention it though unless asked

Hello! The Mrs and I want to buy a satnav to share but I'm not overly sure what to go for... I have used a Navman in the past but have always been more impressed with Tom Tom! We'll also be going on a road trip through californi in the summer and it would be ideal if we could get a unit that will include US mapping but having taken a look at the Tom Tom website it looks like you have to opt for the top of the range model to get that - http://www.tomtom.com/products/product. ... ry=0&Lid=1 Any ideas, sugestions or advice welcome 8)

Another big thumbs up for Brentacre! Re-newed my policy on the LCR today and they came in with the cheepest price yet again! This now takes me into my 5th year of buying insurance through them and they have always been able to beat any other quote by a long way!
-
Does look to have been a nasty enough experience and I'm sure the driver is clearly grateful for his survival... agree with John though - it's more likely the way it rolled that saved his life rather than the C being an amazingly strong car! My guess is he won't be going round that corner with any speed for a good few months!
-
Glad it's worked out for you matey... was worried after reading about the initial outlay! 8)
