  1. Loved my 2.0 16V - never considered it to be under powered and still believe it was a good performer... although now, after owning the LCR for a year it would prob have to be a VR if I did come back 8)
  2. Hidden pipe work would look best IMO... Glad to hear you're getting this going again Lee and look forward to seeing it about next year 8)
  3. Looks nice mate, love the rims too but then I am biased! Any plans to lower it a bit more?
  4. Both nice looking cars! Welcome to the forum 8)
  5. Doubt it will go up automaticly when you hit 56 though
  6. Fair play... ...so therefore, you'll be getting a full detail for christmas - sweet ;) Send her onto me if she's got any more chrimbo shopping to do ;)
  7. Dude - you just need a bird earning half your salary and you're there - just sell the C ;)
  8. JESUS! While keeping a level head I would say that providing she is clever 'I would' and... if by chance she's not clever... um... ok... I still would
  9. Amazing results Rob! I'm sure you have every right to be proud as it looks stunning now! I love how good black paint looks after a full detail so look forward to seeing your results on the 330 mate 8)
  10. Looks a lot better! Have seen it done before but it still looks good every time I see it 8) EDIT: In fact it looks like you have done the edges of the lens too - which I must say does look a lot better and much more 'stock' 8)

    Mats

Yeah, really can't fault Just matz for their quality! Had a couple of sets in the C and am planning to get a set made for the LCR in the new year 8)
  12. Leon Cupra R seemed like logical progression to me and still has the grin factor 12 months later 8)
  13. Love it! Me and the Mrs are hiring one (ok probably not as nice as that one) to drive from San Fransisco down to Santa Monica via Yosemite over the corse of a week or so as part of our honeymoon! I can not wait! 8) Due to the £/$ differences at the moment you can buy one of the V8 versions for just over £12K - it's the shippping, taxes etc etc that sting you I guess! Would love to have a play in the Shelby GT500 and would buy one in an instant if I lived state side!
  14. Looks spot on! Like the black logo's on the center caps too 8) The exhaust cut out in the rear bumper could do with deleting though...
  15. I do miss it but it was only ever a weekend toy and when my daily driver had nearly 100hp more than it there wasn't really much point in keeping it! It was my ultimate rado in terms of looks but needed a bigger engine for it to have been a keeper... reason we sold it and got the golf was down to the fact that we wanted to reduce the number of cars we had - so, I sold the C, the mrs sold her yaris and we both agreed a Golf cab would suit both of us! She drives it everyday (she'd never have driven the C) and I get to clean it, fix it and have a play at weekends! Plus there's the added bonus of being able to take either car along to no rice etc and still feel a part of it all... The cup 3's aren't sided and it always put me off them slightly but once they were on and they set the car off so well it didn't matter! 8)
  16. To echo my comments in the 'how long have you had your rado?' these are the best vag cars I've owned and tbh the C was the best of the lot! ... However I love the looks of the cab and the power of the leon! 8)
  17. In fairness I do miss it big time... but I have to focus on the now :D This is the current fun factor (and the Mrs daily) ;)
  18. Had mine for 3 years... I have to admidt to missing the looks from both driving and leaving it on show - but the LCR more than makes up for it in entertainment points! Coulpe of pics of what has been and what is now 8)
  19. I have one and love it! Bloody quick and handles very well.. I haven't had any damp footwells but am aware of other owners with that problem! My boot lock has stuck twice but was remedied by using the key in the boot lock... oh, and I had to have the brake light switch replaced on warrenty just after I got it but it's been fine since then! Have a look on http://www.seatcupra.net if you need any further info on these great cars 8)
  20. Looks very nice mate! Wheels work really well too - are they all sorted now? Have you thought about a 3/4 size plate for the front? Think it would work better IMO 8)
  21. mine was only ever a weekend car while i had it... couldn't bring myself to stick all the miles on one with everyday use tbh!
  22. I've only ever seen it once - on a car with Belgian plates in brighton... lovely colour but obviously not a shared feeling in the early '90's when people were ordering C's :?

    d90's....

Found a few for ya! But no diamond cut ones... I like the stock silver look quite a bit tbh! HTH
