Still waiting for mine :( should have been here on monday - waited most of the day and went out for half an hour, sure enough they came while I was out  left a card to say they'd deliver the next day - didn't and every time I ring the depot no-one answers the phone - bunch of monkeys! Spoke to customer services tonight and they promise to deliver Saturday morning YAY - can't wait!

that green C is :pukeleft::pukeright: New thread: "worst looking corrado ever"? that green one would make a great start...

The 1.8 16V doesn't have em - different ECU... the 2.0L does have em (2x2 style) but like the G60 can only diagnose ABS faults...

Look forward to seeing it matey... :D -
Spoke to James at deutsche this morning - they've had problems getting them with the bad weather. They picked up the lights last night and couriers will be collecting today, unfortunately this means that we won't get em delivered untill monday.. Nevermind - looking forward to Monday! :)

Well, had it pressure tested this morning and it's all fine so I'm now left with bad wiring problems - any ideas on how to fool the sensors into thinking it's all good? buzzer seems to be behind the dash so cant disconect that and it's getting anoying having to put up with it!
-
or just paint em to match the front ones?
-
Pressure check tomorrow morning - any other helpful ideas still considered - I want to drive my C damn it !!!

IS VAG COM for the VR6 only?
-
My other car is an X reg 406 and it's shite... no end of electrical problems and you look like a cab driver. A mate of mine had a 306 gti6 - it felt quick but the build quality and handling will never match it's german rivals... Those of you that were at the last no-rice meet may remember a Corsa 1.2 (I think) with blue neons doing laps of the car park with his bass pumping - THE JOKES ON YOU MATE - GET A LIFE!
-
Mine too has a bit of play but nothing to serious.. wouldn't know what to do about it though I guess that really doesn't help - sorry

Spoke to the stealers - asked about the wires and was told that they'd have trouble finding out which way round they're meant to be GREAT  ! they then said that they've had this problem in the past and it might be that I need a new instrument pod! On a more helpful note they said to get the pressure checked first to eliminate pressure problems... Spoke to garage that has done previous work... they're convinced it's not pressure problems as it's got a new pump but are willing to pressure test it for me... hopefully I'll be able take it over to them this afternoon or tomorrow to find out...
-
Right, I've changed em round - so now have white = blue/black and brown = yellow... started it and oil light is flashing straight away - rev it up to about 3K and then the buzzer joins the light! so still no joy :( worth a try though. Time to call the stealers and speak to the service dept...
-
Thats what I meant - just gets confusing... pump will always be on our drivers side of car but if it's a left hooker then that would put it behind the passenger seat (same side) savy?
-
I guess the best thing to do is be up front with the insurers after all if they ever decide not to pay out then it's only us that lose out... :? What, no pics of anyones rear end yet? Come on guys - I've got to wait another day :( Hope everyone that was expecting theirs yesterday get em today?
-
Right hand drive would have the pump behind the driver but if it's a left hooker then the external fuel pump would be behind the passenger seat so that would make senxce... Easy to tell if it is - start engine, put head undercar in front of rear tyre, look at underside of car, see pump, is it making noise? Had fuel pump problems on my MK2 - didn't sound like grinding though, more like a strangled cat! If it is this then it's very easy to sort out and you can find pumps easy enough at the stealers or breakers... Hope you get it sorted mate...
-
ahaa.. that might help a lot, I've got a funny feeling that they are the otherway round.. although I had a look at a 16V Golf at the E1K meet the other night and I'd have sworn his were brown sensor = yellow wire and white sensor = blue wire.. will change em over to see if it makes any difference though.. FINGERS CROSSED :)
-
I'm just going to keep quiet - as far as the theiving insurance companies are concerned it's standard  Plus I wouldn't have thought it'd make a difference as it doesn't effect performance (although I'm hoping for at least an extra 10 horses LOL)...
-
Cheers chaps Recon I'll get pressure tested seeing as it's not the wiring or the sensors it's gotta be more serious - and I'd have to be pretty dumb to think it wasn't a serious problem after everything thats happened so far!!! LOL
-
So I hope that means there is 8 people off work tomorrow waitin the delivery and pics on here by lunch time
-
If anyone has this for a 2.0L 16V C ('94) that'd be great... or if anyone could confirm which way round the sensors are and what colour wires go to each one that'd be just as good... At the moment it's got the brown (high pressure) sensor closest to the engine and the white (low pressure) one in front of it. I have the yellow wire conected to the white one and the other wire (blue) to the brown (high pressure) one... This is how the garage let me have it back and I don't know if they've got it set up as it should be... the reason I ask can be found here: http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6907 Hope someone can help - this is driving me nuts!
