wot rear axle is used when doing a 4x4 conversion is it golf rallye or v6 4 motion.

Just gonna get my front wheel bearings done and its becoming a right mission trying to get the hubs off, the calipers are off so is the caliper frame thingy, the driveshaft nut is off too, is it just a case of givin it bashin???????

anyone know if theres a quick shift system for the corrado, i feel like the gear stick has too much travel

am having the same problem, got a 30mm 12 sided doesnt feel like it grips well and keeps slippin off....and oh mines a VR

G60Renshaw, i'm thinkin of gettin porker seats in my corrado, just a qucick question do these adjust up and down like the corrado ones.........also how difficult is it to wire up the electrics.

Just considering all my options for engine mods and a turbo seems really appealing would like to go a turbo of a 225 bhp T.T engine, just thinkin would this have to use a custom manifold and roughly how much would it cost............also just read a thread that all g60 owners can easily convert to turbo using the manifold off a TDI golf.............alright for some!!!!!!!

it is a droning sort of sound but sounds like its coming from the front rather then the back.

rite, when starting up my VR which seems to fire up pretty normal you hear this sound, it happens just when the engine fires but its a lil difficult to explain, sounds like a pump that runs for a second or so but it idles fine after that........could be that its normal but ive not come acrosss other cars that make a sound like that so a bit concerned.

what is required for the full conversion, engine, gearbox, ecu, wiring loom, is there anything custom involved like engine mounts etc..

wot sort of money u lukin at for the 20vt engines

yeh no doubt you cant beat the sound of six cylinder but i've heard the 20vt is a very tunable engine especially if you start with the 225 bhp, hearing from ppl even bolt on parts have big gains.

yeh but alcantara luks good for a few months but then it starts to bobble.
