Not really no, the discs are brand new.

Fitted a new o/s caliper today, this side was sticking the worst. It all went together ok bled the caliper etc. The car rolls now much better but i'm still not convinced its sorted. when the wheel is in the air and you turn it by hand it will do one and a half rotation and then stop dont know if this is right but also you can hear a little sssss when you turn the wheel i dont know if i'm just being paraniod or what there is no visual gap between the pads and disc again dont know if there is supposed to be or not. and oh what do the little thin shim type things do that sit on the carrier front and rear when the pad sits in place???

Anyone with Ekta be able to help???, i've seen oics of the golf ABS sensor and it looks the same as corrado

Do you know what makes the caliper piston spring back, is it fuid pressure?

The brakes should still work okay shouldnt they

******update******, took the rear caliper apart today and when i would turn the hand brake mech on the caliper the piston comes out but does not go back in. Could my problem be the fact that there is less pressure in the system hence the pistons in the calipers are not returning?, also if one or more of my abs sensors are down will the pump stop working

Its used as a second car so not that often. what actually makes the piston go back when you take your foot off the brake is it pressure????

The rears were fitted a year ago, the cables do seem fine. The front are originals of the car

Rite my car had had mk4 golf rear calipers fitted and im using corrado Pads. The problem i have is only the nsr wheel turns freely in air the os rear binds a little. The fronts are the worst the n/s binds a little the o/s binds so bad that the disc gets red hot after maybe 2/3 km the car does not roll. I've taken the caliper off once before and gave the piston a clean and lubed it a bit worked for a little while but now its back.............wtf do i do car dont even roll on a sort of down hill. I was thinking of getting a new caliper what sort of prices am i looking at. Its a vr6 by the way

Has anyone fitted the us type bumper repeaters to a uk spec bumper? I know the us bumpers dont have a resess for the number plate so a standard plate might not look as good.

Did my rear lamps last year in full red. the tope half was tinted and the whole lamp was lacquered, now the red match was excellent but the quality of the lacquer was crap so they dont look gloss enough. If i went over the lamps with a fine paper and then just lacquered them do you think it will be ok should it last.???

ardandy, what size is that?, is it slash cut? where did u get it done from and last is there a right 911 tailpipe.

Looks good, i was looking at a magnex but i dont quite like the way the tailpipe is oval but then you can see it go smaller inside. In that sense i like the standard one as it looks the same size inside and out

Does anyone have any close up pics of the Supersprint stainless exhaust fitted to a Corrado, i'm looking for quality of fit especially the tailpipe to bumper also what size is this and last any ideas on prices for a back box. Thanks

Just done mine too, also you know the metal plate in the centre the one that covers the headlamp bulb, how do u think it'd look in black ?, i was tempted to do it on mine but thought i'd leave it for when i get a spare light

If they dont fail electrically then whats wrong with 2nd hand ones

I need to change both rears, stealers just gave me a price for one £115.............you gotta be kiddin me, GSF only do fronts but not rears??????/
