still working on this, the piston pushes out ok when you apply the pedal, i've managed lift back the rubber seal and its a lil bit rusty the piston that is, so i cleaned it up with a bit of sand paper, can i just apply a bit of copper grase to the piston? to help it.

Vw do not list the plug on its own, does any one have any part numbers?????

DutchVR6, RW1, do any of of you have an actual pic of the plug (early type brown black/red wire), i've now determined that the red/black is + and the brown is - but i dont know what is + or - on the pump because all i have is two wires i need to see the plug. The plug can only go on one way so looking at the colour of the wires i'd know + - on the pump thanks for the help dudes.

Can somone please shine some light on the plug issue i have from what i have read it appears there are two types of aux pump early/late the one in the pic what is that e or l and pleasssseee can somone please check their car. Like i said i have two wires 1 brown and 1 black/red......the pic above shows red and green wires on the plug

I've got mk4 calipers fitted to the car but my font caliper o/s seemes to be siezed the car barely rolls and the front wheel heats up real bad and you can smell the pad burn............whats the remedy

Right following this thread i found this pic on the forum, me thinking i now i know which wire goes where and all i need is a plug, i just checked the colours of the wires on my car and one is brown and the other is red/black.... :( :mad: ........can somone please tell me whats goin on, my cars an L plate Edit wrong pic

dazfxvw, is it not possible to use the standard subframe out of a corrado??, the only thing i dont like about the corrado recaros is tht they adjust electricly and when motors start to go wrong ur screwed when you cant adjust the seat.

I've seen a few 16v turbos now pushing out some sick bhp. Has anyone here done a conversion what are they like in terms of power?, are parts cheap? and last how strong is the engine itself in coping with higher bhp

Do the early dash blanks near the foglight/rear screen heater fit the later dash and vice verse?

checked the contacts and evrything seems to be fine, if its not a relay then what causes the light to stay on when you shut the door and it then goes off aftr a few secs thn what controls that???

I know the aux water pump is there for a reason system design etc. What if it was removed, the reason i say this is when the pump on my vr was connected the temp would climb in traffic and generally be higher. Now when i changed my coilpack i noticed that the plug for the pump may have broken at some time and somone put two spade connecters to make em fit so i disconnected this thinking i will get the proper plug off cut loom. 6 mths down the line now and i still havnt sorted it but the temperature has never climbed at all not even in summer its sits exactly at the thicker white mark after 70 i think it may be 90 but its exactly half way.

My interior light from time to time either does not come on or somtimes doesnt go off when the doors are opened, somone suggested the interior light delay relay might be knackerd, which one is it??

Just looking through new pvw magazine and i really like the way the headlights have been smoked on the mint green mk2, does any one know if these are available for the Corrado or is it just diy effort. I was going to have a go on mine but wasnt too sure wether to use the spray tint or tint film that they use for windows. I dont particularly like the spray stuff as its very thin and gives varied results but then again will tint film hod on lights?. opinions please

carpoid, I've allways loved the look of wide wheels the rs301's gave the car an expensive look but it just wasnt what i wanted to achieve, the car is now on 16v sebring wheels as i have converted to 4 stud (much prefer them to speedos). I've now got a set of borbet b 9x16 for the time being and once i've gone through with the narrow track conversion i want to get hold of some 16" Rs's with 3" outers.

As stated that was my car at the begining of this year, the wheels were sold to crazeymarcel as i've got other plans........for those of you that liked the e30 heres two more.........oh and that car is one of ten made!!! As for lowering i gave it no mercy the car was arse down on those wheels, rear was about 100mm and front was around 80.
