1. Hi guys yeah I know it's the part number for the none ABS item, hence putting up the first photo link, I tried to find the correct part number but couldn't find it on Classic Parts :salute: I was hoping someone would post up with the correct part number, thanks guys much appreciated. Thanks again Si
2. OEM part n.o 191501639A Corrado 1992 to 1995 with ABS Drawing 5 position 18 ******************** OEM part n.o 191501639A MK2 Golf 1988 to 1992 Drawing 2 position 19 £4.50 from VW Heritage Tried up loading the second photo link, but at the moment the forum is being weird. You'll have to check with VW Heritage on stock of the first item for the Corrado i.e with ABS as back along they weren't in stock. They were only keeping this part for NONE ABS 1984 to 1988 to 1992 Hope this helps. Si
3. No worries, possibly the screws are metal but you'll have to check with a fellow G60 owner to be 100% sure, like you say PM Fuzz. Si
4. Hello mate I don't own a G60 myself, but is this any help. Hopefully someone on here will have them ? Si
5. Good shout, thanks. 1) Will.I.Dub 2) VW Rule 16v brushed alloy affect rear badge. €55.00 = to £48.94 + postage. But only if there's at least 10 people interested. Many thanks Si
6. Hello, right quick update I've had a reply PM from Chris, regarding price for the 16v brushed alloy affect rear badge. €55.00 = £48.94 but only if there's at least 10 people interested, other wise the price will be more possibly and so not cost affective. So looks like it's the same price as the rear VR6 badge, in the brushed alloy affect. Question - what are your thoughts regarding interest. Cheers Si
7. Looks good mate in the photos nice one, must admit I might have to do this mod on mine soon. No worries you're in credit for one pint of larger :drinking::lol: Take it easy Si :thumbleft:
8. Hi any news on repairing your front splitter retaining plate, just wondering if you got it sorted. Cheers Si
9. Hello mate thanks, yeah I'm just waiting for the final cost break down for 10 people plus or under 10 people, to see if it's worth doing or not, as soon as I hear anything I'll post up, or possibly Chris will. The one fitted to my Corrado is the original 16v badge, and is quite faded now the same with the Corrado script badge. I'm wanting to get replacement badges in the original brushed alloy affect if poss. Luckily I managed to find a new front grill badge about a year ago off Ebay for about £12.00. Plus I've got one new Corrado script primed badge that I got from VW Heritage just in case. But yeah there are some parts/items for the Corrado, that are really rare now. Many thanks Si
10. No worries hope you get it sorted. Si
11. OUT OF STOCK. like I say at present this part is now obsolete. https://www.vwheritage.com/536955325-corrado-operating-linkage-for-wipers-rhd/ Many thanks Si
12. Hello there, I'm not aware of the VR6 engine having a cam belt, the VR6 has timing chains. Oh hang on unless you mean the cover that fits on the drivers side, behind the wheel to protect the alternator / power steering belt/s. The part number you have above I can't see it on the Classic Parts site, but there is this part number 535825250A which is for the cover I mentioned above. Link below of the new part ? If this is the one you need. https://www.vwheritage.com/535825250a-v-belt-cover-corrado-from-chassis-50-n-000-000 £50.95 showing in stock at VW Heritage. Hope this helps Si
13. Question: Does anyone else need the 16v brushed alloy affect rear badge for the later Corrados, think they were fitted from late 1993 to 1995, it's just that I've been chatting to Chris = (Sprinter53) over the last few days, basically he's prepared to do some but only if there's 10 people or more interested. This badge in the brushed alloy affect has been obsolete for some years now, I've seen you can still just about get the red badge but only from limited places, one seller being on Ebay from Athens / Greece. I'm just waiting to hear back from Chris regarding cost for the 16v brushed alloy affect badge, like I say anyone who's interested please post up on here. Cheers Si
14. Part of my headlight wiring loom was burnt away/warn, partly caused by the original weak headlight switch, due to the poor inner contacts, & the bulb shining hot making parts of the inner plastic brittle as well. I bought this loom back in 2005 or early 2006 when it was still available from VW main dealer, for roughly £50.00 But it's been obsolete for awhile now, well I've just seen it's been reproduced by VW Classic Parts. Also remember to speak to VW Heritage as they might do you a deal on price ? VW Classic Parts. Headlight wiring loom OEM part number: 00-535971055 €78.96 = £70.41 All Corrados 1988 to 1995 *********** Or VW Heritage 535971055 £59.71 VW Classic Parts OEM part n.o 535971055B €129.00 = £114.80 All Corrados 1988 to 1995 ********* Or VW Heritage 535971055B £97.56 One of the above part numbers is RHD and one is for LHD possibly, but you'll have to speak to VW Heritage, as I'm not 100% sure. Also speak to 8vMatt here on this forum as he does a group buy for the uprated LED headlight switch. Link below. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?96213-2017-Headlight-Switch-group-buy-is-a-go!/page10 Hope this helps Si
15. I've now SOLD OUT of these small wiper linkages, if I'm able to purchase a few more in the future, I'll let you know. As far as I'm aware this part is now obsolete, hopefully VW Classic Parts will reproduce it, or VW Heritage will be able to, if I hear anything about this part I'll let you know. Once again many thanks. Si
16. Hi Jamie, your item I sent earlier on today as promised, so all going well you should receive it tomorrow. I've also just sent you a PM of your consignment number for your item. Thanks again Si
17. Hi Jamie, thank you for your payment and confirmation of your delivery address, I'm at work now until about 6pm so I'll get your new linkage packed ready tonight after work, and will send your item out to you tomorrow. I'll also forward you your consignment number. P.S just sent you a PM of the above info. Thanks again Si
18. Hello mate yeah I would clean out the front face of that small core plug, i.e remove best you can all that congealed muck, and see if the core plug is pitted or cracked, before you fully remove it out of block, just to be sure. But yeah looking at your photo I'd go for possibly core plug and water pump. Si
19. Hello there, it does look like you have water running down your block, but there is a bit of glare from the light or flash of your camera. Yes that is a core plug directly under your water pump pulley, plus that small core plug does look congealed with oil/grease/dirt. Right ok so this is a VR6 thinking about it, I believe on these block's they do have a large oil chamber shaft, that goes from the face of the engine block right down to the sump area, which I believe is on the water pump side at the front side, basically facing the same way as the auxiliary pulleys, so yes that core plug could possibly be a oil one. Plus also it looks like you have slight fluid stains, like water / oil behind your water pump pulley, looking through the hole in pulley. I doubt it's your crank shaft oil seal as that is much lower than your water pump, looks to me as if you might have oil leaking from that core plug, & possibly water leaking from pump ? But I can only judge this from your photo. Could also be cam cover gasket or head gasket leaking ? But like I say and what you've mentioned it does look like that core plug is leaking. Hope this helps Si
20. Hello mate right ok I'll PM you payment details now. Many thanks Si
21. £134.17 = mineral glass, grinded lenses. £169.95 = acrylic glass, optic similar to original lenses. Hi Chris, I must admit they do look really good actually. Thanks for your hard work on this really rare item/s. I've been trying to find some paperwork, a invoice something with the company name when I bought some plastic / acrylic lenses off Ebay, about 18 months ago but I've lost the invoice or might have thrown it out by mistake. But anyway the first option price you have Chris I'm pretty sure that's close to what I payed. LED bulbs that's a good shout, Chris please let us know when you're happy with the final product/s. I think these could be selling out fast. Thanks again Chris. Si
22. Hello Gti_Jamo, I've had a reply back earlier on this morning from Benji-27, he's told me that he's managed to get his wiper problem sorted out, so you can have this last linkage if you still need it. P.S just sent you a PM of the above info. Many thanks Si
23. No I'm afraid not still got my very first Corrado 2.0 16v (1994) You never know I might change to the VR6 one day. Si
24. Nice one Anna thanks for letting us know, every little saving helps. P.S I'm just posting up any new part number I happen to find when looking for an item, on Classic Parts I might need in the future and just post up on this thread to help out anyone else who might need it also. Many thanks Si
