no sparks jumping from ht leads? easy to see when dark -

Ive just been offered a golf mk1 gti. My corrado has got a few issues which are annoying me so im tempted to pull the engine out and plonk in the mk1. I know its guna be a big challenge, but can anyone give me any ideas of whats involved? Things im puzzled on would be fuel pump? and engine wiring? Could i fit my complete rado loom in it? Should i use cable change?

took my g60 on mainland the other day and with a 1.8 16v box, i was topping out at 100mph in 4th at redline which is bad so avoid the 1.8 16v box on the g60

drive shafts wont fit, neither will ball joints etc. you would need to change car to widetrack which involves changing lower arms,ball joints, roll bar, cv joints etc

can you not adjust the linkage or stengthen the spring? cant remember what it looks like

sns chip is approx £125, pulleys are approx £50 and stage 4 charger will be approx £500 boost return kit is approx £30 and sounds cool IMO Give Darren a ring at g-werks as he can sort all this out and give you the correct prices as im guessing

i removed an AMD chip from mine and added the sns and it was a big improvement

it goes -20v on cranking when not starting,but goes 12v when it does start,it can only be switch i thought -
or lambda fault

sns all the way, they have the "no digi lag" code that no other chip has which gives greatly improved response

white and blue is normal 16v colours.doesnt matter where they are placed aslong as the right colour wires go on the right coloured sensor i think

yeah, undo the 10mm nut that holds linkage to motor,then swing linkage round till the arm is parked where you want it,then bolt it back down

From reading Vortex, they seem to say stage 4 is cam, 68mm pulley and 3.5fpr so does that mean stage 5 is 65mm pulley and red tops? Also whats the crack with 5.2, 5.4, 5.5 sns chips? Need to know as want to fit my 65mm toothed kit and want red tops and chip to match before i fit
