he says it is? think its a random intermittent fault, like nothing to do with what he has done and something else has gone wrong -
Think you might need to venture onto vortex forums as they know all about this

I have spare fuel lines if you get stuck! give me a buzz on 07814092705 Adie ps Im in Ryde -
It seems to be a loose reservoir!!! can i buy the new rubber seals and bottle?

"The isv only vents when it leaks" is what the american chaps are saying and they do occasionally leak. I presume it doesnt retard ignition either, only if there is pinking

ouch, the clutch master cylinder is a nightmare to change isnt it?
-
Just doin a fluid check on car yesturday and noticed there was no brake fluid in it at all! Brakes and clutch still felt fine though. I toped it up and now can smell brake fluid inside the car? Do you think thwe clutch master cylinder could be leaking? Bad timing as im goin to southcoast meet tommorrow

Ive just done loads of searching on the vortex and found that 1 of the chaps from sns is addiment that only some ecu's STANDARD chips have the function to vent,so as soon as you re-chip your car,you wont have this feature anyway. People have run 1.5bar of boost with no sign of the isv leaking
-
It was doing it before i modded it. Might buy new genuine lambda and replace the wiring up to ecu as i got lots of interferance on my gauge
-
Jabba have sold loads of em ( i know that doesnt say much though) and ive not heard of anyone having a problem. Most chips run a tad rich higher up anyway so that should compensate
-
although my wooosh's more with the rsr and boost return mod
-
depends how you look at it. Sometimes isv's leak anyway under low boost, this way garauntees it wont.
-
replaced that less than 500 miles ago

So we believe the ecu can bleed boost out of the ISV once its reached 1bar. Companys sell a one way valve which allows the ISV to breath air,but not to blow boost out. I decided to make 1 today as i was breaking a golf mk2 gti,and found some usefull bits to do it. I used a reducing pipe from the isv on the golf mk2 gti and the 1 way valve that runs to the brake servo. Heres the pic of the hose on the golf gti and then you can see the finsished item on mine. All i need to do is add a breather on the end. Took me 10mins max and cost me sod all 8)

When the switch ISNT taped, it idles in stoich but part throttle is lean, WOT is off the gauge lean. I am using a cheap gauge though which i presume wont be very accurate, but its a start ecu pipe has been replaced. When ecu pipe is removed with engine running,it idles alot better, but soon as you put pipe back on,it goes lumpy?

Im using a samco 2wd cosworth turbo pipe with dumpvalve fitting. The co pot is perfect size for the dumpvalve hole
-
trying adjusting the co pot

Checked with multi meter and seems ok?

I reckon leaky injectors or oil in the dizzy cap? -
Ive just wired up a air/fuel gauge into my rado. My 1st intentions was it was running super rich as it bogs, pops and farts. I checked the gauge today and its the oppisite! Idle it shows ok,but soon as i floor it it goes off the gauge to lean  I tried adjusting the co pot but no joy. I taped the full throttle switch shut and adjusted the co pot to 250 and flys. Undo the tape, and its slow  With the switch taped, when i floor it,the gauge mometerally hits lean for a split second, then hits just in rich, but its rich on idle. Tried tweaking the co pot with switch taped but the gauge doesnt change? What can cause the lean accelaration? I have new lambda New earth strap from battery to head showing 0 resistance Same strap extended to lambda bracket Tried another ecu checked i have resistance on both throttle micro switches when switched Im lost now and am completly stumped  Any more suggestions?

the g60 doesnt use tci. Dont think those plugs are on the digi 1 loom either
