Im using the citreon wiper arm on single wiper with the sprayer built on. You could fit the jets on the scuttle trim
-
But you dont get increased torque from 2k
-
depends on size son golfs used the 50mm manifold, corrados use the 42mm

*update for reference* Ive now got another ecu fitted (thanks griff!)and seems slightly better but prob is still there. Ive now tested the throttle position switches and they are both working, ive ran another earth wire from battery to side of head and have 0.00 resitance at the earth points when engine is cold but it creeps to about 0.06 when warm. It idles loverly now but is very hesitant between 1-2k and if i floor it, it just bucks and hesitates. light throttle and its ok. I dont have an ecu holder so was worried that the ecu needs to be earthed so have ran another wire from ecu body to bodywork. Im going to try running the car with throttle switches unplugged tommorrow to see what effect this has. co pot is set to 500ohms but might try setting to 800 next will post results

Rev counter signal on MK2 Driver > ABF Conversion?
flusted replied to Supercharged's topic in Engine Bay
mk2s normally have a black/red wire that is the rev counter feed and its on the negative of the coil -
dont think so. Stop worrying Andy
-
yes you will gain boost eralier but think it puts alot more strain on charger
-
if you dont correct the timing using a modified chainwheel, then the car will idle like poo and have bad power band. Mine idled perfect and had power from 2k up
-
im running corrado 16v box in my g60, ratios are different though
-
That is the exception rather than the rule. Didn't you also have some massive throttle body on there aswell? Throttlebody wasnt on there when mine was dynod
-
not the isv bleeding is it?
-
aslong as you have the modded chainwheel aswell it will work very well. My old engine when it was 1.8 made 163bhp with just that cam and a 4branch up freom 136bhp Shrink ya sig aswell
-
think it dumps 25% more fuel in
-
Im actually enjoying how it all works. Im running mine with lambda unplugged and the WOT switch taped pressed. Strange thing is,if i plug lambda back in,it runs like a dog even with WOT switch pressed? Surely with switch pressed,it should ignore lambda readings?
-
so where does the co pot come into it then?
-
Thats just the boost return butterfly on the throttlebody. Think if you mess with with it,you make your charger suffer
-
been answered by Daz! Mine does have the digi lag code
-
Heres a pic of a chip on ebay thats linked in ebay and misc My chip has an sns tuning sticker on it and it says stage 5? Will mine have the digi lag code?
-
you need to tape the switch shut and unplug the lambda and leave it like it,then go for a drive
-
Done mine today with the rigid version Well easy took 10mins
-
undo the 2 screws that hold the switch in,then tape it so its pressed all the time, then unplug lambda. Heres a pic of my switch,i cable tied it so it stays pressed
