  3. Just got a g60 in at work for breaking,and am considering whether to put it in my valver? g60 lump has covered 106k but charger has gone. My 2l 16v spec Flowed head flowed inlet manifold 3mm over bored throttlebody also flowed stainless 4 branch twin exhaust cams k-star engine management (map spark and fuel) Being dynod at stealth july and should see high 180s? But do i rip this out and sell bits seperatly to cover cost of new charger? Is it easy to convert from 16v to g60? Take it loom is plug and play?
  4. you have to adjust it by leaving car on the ground or on a ramp (not jacked up) Not sure on exact tension on spring but the same as standard setting

  7. as said allready,they are matched to head,nothing can be down about it
  8. do not replace with 1 from your old head as it will wreck it! Make sure you use the 1s that go with the head and in the right order. Not sure if there is 1 missing either,alot of 8v heads only had 3 cam caps but im unsure with g60
  9. its always guna be each to there own,id love aset of indicators as it will go with my headlights,as it stands,my standard indicators look gay

  13. Undo the metal brake hose on the top,then the rubber 1 pulls down through the clip

  15. yes they are the same as long as the golf has 256mm brakes

  18. so if i go wide track,its no different to someone fitting audi wheels to a vr6 corrado is it?
  19. so could i use the 5 stud flange but the mk4 disc,caliper and carrier? or could i get away with widetracking my car but im using 18" audi wheels et35?

  21. nightmare mate,try lettin go of wheel and make sure car still gos straight
  22. surely the mk3 gti 8v isnt widetrack? ive read that the mk3 hubs use different balljoints hence why you need the wishbones?
  23. Id rather use second hand parts from other models as it would be cheaper for me. Can aanyone advise on the mk3gti hubs fitting?
