Oh and those bubbles are on the lip and not on the main body work.
There is hardly any mate. Just some tiny bubbles max 1-2mm wise. Hasn't broken paint, I just see this stuff and want to jump on it and get it fixed.
Sounds good ABV and similar to mine (it was bone stock). I've changed a few bits - Bilstein B12 suspension, R32 rear front wishbone bushes and an exhuat on top of the cams. Mainly becuase the old...
Thanks Keyo. Yes that video does show the state of what has happened with mine. A shame really as the rest of the paint looks pretty good.
I've created a google album with the pics, also included...
I'm defo in agreement. I'm certainly interested in your chap if he's interested. I could send photos and visit if he thinks it is doable.
I was just looking at Jamie's for sale thread...
Cheers Keyo
The fuel filler cap area may not even need welding but it does have signs of surface rust around the edges. Difficult to photo. Who ever sprayed it in the past just chucked paint over...
Yeah thanks Keyo. I'm prepared to bring it up, probably in the new year post salt season. I know you wouldn't accept bad work so very interested.
I do need my petrol filler area sorting, prob...
Keyo - yours sounds like mine. I have some small bubbles on one rear arch and want to get the other side done purely because of the masking around the seals. I hadn't thought about lifting the seals...
Thanks Ben, I've been thinking of texting you for your contact since getting this quote through.
I dont mind travelling :) and yours looked spot on.
I've had another quote through. The car doesn't need a full respray but it is coming out bloody expensive. This was a garage in my area - finishline - I really liked the owner and the quality of...
Hey ABV,
Good luck with your journey, they are great cars. I've not had a car get under my skin as the Corrado.
The 263s are perfect for a road car. They give a big lump of torque between...
I'm a member of both and must admit I haven't seen the us and them culture in my recent years. Many of us are a member of both paying £30 a year.
I think it would be great to join forces. Each can...
I bought the OE ones from Heritage and they don't fit that well; i've lost 2 already and 1 fell out while power washing the wheels (literally just passed it with a jet of water).
I bought this one, the kit looks good and decent quality but I haven't fitted it yet. I'll send you some pictures when I am in my shed next.
Heard similar from Stealth RE the R32: Mk5 is the better car. Also he also said the chain job is a lot more expensive on the R32 vs the 12v VR6 and many customers who come in for thta job after...
That is really good, their facebook page and documented progress looks awesome. Well worth the trip by the looks of things.
Found yours in their picture gallery - lots of work done and looks...
One way to avoid IMS/Bore scoring issues

Sounds really good, just as unique as the flat 6 engine so takes nothing away from the original car.
Is that 3k in total, was that restoshack in Devon? Sounds really good!
Cheers for the comments. So that is about right. I am a believer in getting it right first time so will have to save a bit more.
I was thinking 4 + welding and parts so say 6k in total but I am...
Hi,
I'm planning out my respray and any bodywork whilst I have my interior out fixing a sunroof and just generally tidying up.
I've had one indicative quote from a place in Mid Beds (vehicle...
Me to (263s, Vince re-map + exhaust) and rolling roaded at 220bhp.
Highly recommended. I remember the 263s giving a lot more mid range oomph but it feels normal now!
Interesting thanks fendervg. I did mean the toothed wheel directly without a motor attached, thought this was possible but I have a spare motor somewhere so can do it this way instead.
So it could...
Well I've overcome my inner rage (kidding, sort of) about the lack of photos and become a contributor. Bigger picture and all that.
I use facebook, it's great, but it's not a forum. We need a...
Hi,
I've searched high and low over the internet. I've found details of repair kits for the original roof now sadly discontinued and I've fitted a mk3 golf mech with a Passat B4 moonroof that I've...
