Purely the map, both ran the KO3S turbo.

Try unicorn, they remapped my 225 TT and it made 270 bhp, really smooth delivery and ran smooth https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rc...LArfCEsESmNViw

Fixed the boot catch and just now another problem has occured, my oil pressure has dropped significantly. The car hasn't used/lost any oil and I can't see any noticeable blown hoses or anything obvious which could've caused this. Any pointers from a 1.8t wizard?

Is the oil warning light showing on the dash and any warning buzzers going off?

If not and it's only showing low on that gauge it could just be faulty wiring to/from the gauge

These engines suffer from oil starvation, the oil pick up pipe causes it, common problem with the 18t engine, sump off and replace the pick up pipe if this is the problem

No none of the above are going off, only sign is the aftermarket gauge is reading low. Checked all the wires behind the dash to the gauges and all are connected.

Whereabouts would I find the oil pressure sensor on a 1.8t engine to check the wires the other end?

The sensor should be on the oil filter housing where the filter screws into

there should be a t piece to allow the two mk2 sensors ( temp and pressure) to fit the 1.8t filter housing

that's how my old one was but I didn't run a pressure gauge I'm presuming your gauge will be plumbed in round there too

Yes it works as it should which makes me think it's just this cheap aftermarket gauge playing up

Plugged in a different gauge and all works so it was just a faulty gauge. Also been speaking to a lad at a garage I know who's mate has had 1.8t's, G60's, VR6 turbos and the current S3 engine in his mk2! So may have to have a chat with him about future mods
