G60 Front Mount Bracket

Hi, has anyone got any photos of the front engine mount bracket arrangement on a G60? Also is there more than type?
The bracket that came on the engine is 1H0-199-273-D which doesn't match Etka (357199273)

Hello mate,

I think you might have the wrong engine mount bracket on there,
as part number 1H0 199 273D comes up as VR6 on ETKA.

VR6 Corrado engine mount bracket according to ETKA

Part number 1H0 199 273D with manual gearbox

Part number 1H0 199 273C with automatic gearbox (difference of at least 1/2" between this 273C and 273D)




For all 4 cylinder Corrado's the engine mount bracket should be as follows:

Thanks Si, looking at the bolts etc from when i took it off the previous owner must have bodged it at some point.

I'd speak to VW Heritage as they might have stock of the mount bracket you're after, looks like the MK2 Golf uses the same bracket but part number is slightly different.

Part number 191 199 273
cost new £15 to £18 in stock
Fits the (KR) 1.8 16v Golf but should also fit the (PG) G60

The secondhand ones for the Corrado go for stupidly expensive prices on Ebay.

None of the Mk2 brackets will fit as these are for 020 gearboxes and the Corrados all have 02A 'boxes
