    antone have any idea on the rough dimensions of the g60 fmic or know what size will fit in without moding the front im about to sit my tt engine in cheers
    any ideas on what sort of size i mite need for running around 270 bhp

    Stock G60 IC is about 10" tall, 5" deep and 7" wide.

    I found it drops about 4psi, so it's not the most efficient IC in the world but being a side mount, it's well away from any sources of heat. Should be OK up to 270hp. You'll get better results with a larger one though, particularly in the midrange torque.

    Sorry Kev i disagree, its poor on a standard car never mind 270bhp.

    I do agree bigger is always better though.

    Just noticed he was asking about the G60 FMIC so it's irrelevant now anyway.

    My S/C VR6 made over 280hp with a G60 side mount IC so they can't be that bad.
    Did have: 94 Corrado R32
    Now have: 2004 Golf R32

    Lol, even i read it as side mount.

    Its not so much as what it can make though as you know its maintaining that over the course of prolonged boost use.

    was just wondering if anyone was using a front mount in front of the rad and the rough size just to make it a bit easyer iv seen alot on ebay and was just looking for rough dimensions..been a bit lazy realy as i can easy measure it when the lumps in,but i wondered what sort of size you need for around 270bhp using a ko4, a tiny one isnt gona be mutch use, like say 600mmx200x65 be up to it?
    im just waiting for my loom back from qpeng and then il see how it goes

    yea just the job,wheres that number from? you have two different outlets on that? i dont wanna cut my origional bumper,if you could tell me the sizes of that and where you got it would be a great help

    2.0ltr 16v 'perl grey' k-reg powerflow exaust lowered g60 brakes lupo wipers - curanty 148bhp. (missed)
