    De-locked door handle mod

Nice easy mod - just fit rear door handles & lock mechanisms from a Passat

    left lock mech - 357 839 015A
    right lock mech - 357 839 016A

    left handle - 357 839 205A
    right handle - 357 839 206A

    Part numbers corrected - supercharged....

Please be aware that the bolts for the original Corrado handles may be reverse threaded for some unknown reason!

No Probs Steve. everyone needs Bling in there life

    Cheers Supercharged

Apparently there just chromed versions of the Passat mechanisms. Supercharged has them on his.

Would have to get some chrome latch pins too for bling, but not sure if there VW parts too and cant remember where you get em

Guys... the part number is just different because there off an audi i think (its the 839 in the middle that is important for compatability - corrado was 837)

I'm fairly sure they didn't come chromed as standard! - I just picked them up at inters like that, loads of people sell them!

Yeah, I have some alloy pins with the VW logo on them from Volksparts I think but they do not sell them anymore due to copyright laws... - they just sell them with gti/16v etc on them....

i meant the pins on the b pillar that the mechanisms latch onto.

I thoght they'd be audi cause ethat was always a trick for VW's, find an old audi in a scrappy as they have chromed (Nickel i tihnk they are) mechanisms.

So they should be like that new.

Doh, yeah I have seem these at shows but only a couple of times...

So they should be like that new.
Hmmm... you may be right, the ones I bought were fairly clean but didn't look as 'new' as some of the mk2 ones you see at shows etc, Etka doesn't really tell you anything either....

I think its around a 92 or 93 model. Iv done this mod and all you need to do is take your mechanism and door handle off then switch them for the ones from the passat. Hey presto, its that simple.
