removing bumpers

This is probably going to be glaringly obvious to those in the know, but how should i go about taking the front and back bumpers off my 1990 corrado??? i've had a look and can't see anything obvious and don't want to rely on brut force and ignorance for fear of damaging them!! any advice would be much appreciated, cheers guys, Adam

there are four bolts to undo underneath for the front bumper - if you have a look there will b 3 either side, DONT undo the big one but just the smaller two on each side. Also there may be a metal strip on the inside of the bumper above the spoiler that needs to be taken off to free it up.

 

As for back bumper - no idea... havnt needed too - would presume either something underneath but more likely something in the boot?

Back bumper is just 4 bolts, don't drive it without the front bumper - it's structural!

yeah sorry should have been a little clearer with my post - the metal within the front bumper bolts through the subframe, it will become clearer when u get the car jacked up and see the bolts... it should just come clear pretty easy - remember the wiring to the fog/indicators tho...

If I remember there are three 17mm bolts about a foot in from the inside of the wheels. You need to undo the two outer bolts on both sides NOT the centre bolt.
