liam_bettinson 0 Posted September 5, 2005 It's not a corrado, but when I joined this forum I was in two minds between buying a Corrado or a Mk3 Golf and joined to do some research!...and evidently I bought the Mk3 (2.0 16v GTi) and here she is :D If anybody's from Teesside (Stockton-on-Tees), you may see me around. Phil K 0 Posted September 7, 2005 So what was the final decision that made you go for a Golf? Looks nice btw :D
liam_bettinson 0 Posted September 7, 2005 Well it was mainly the price, I picked it up for £1400 which I think was a bargain! It's done 127K but the bodywork, interior and running is spot on...Other things included reliability, insurance cost etc Also, it was already modded so don't have to spend a lot to make it how I want it...which (when I get some cash) includes new headlights (1st priority!), wheels (or re-conditioning the current set maybe as they're in good nick, just a bit aged with spots of rust and bubbled coating) new steering wheel (the current one is a bit chav), de-badged grill, German plates and other smaller things such as a new ariel etc...also wanna get a new electric window motor for passenger side as current one was bust from day one
