Boot carpet

Just wondering, as I'new to the Corrado are there any models/years that came with a space saver spare wheel? My car is a 1991 16V and has a full size spare which means you get the annoying hump on the boot floor. I was wondering if I could put a space saver in there and obtain a flat boot carpet...kind of like the mk2 Golf GTI has instead of the humpy carpet that the base models came with.

Should be a cheap mod. There are loads of Corrados breaking at the moment. It should be a one for one jobbie.

And most Corrados came with space savers - the full-size spare was an optional extra.

Thats good then :) Funny how a full size spare is an option on a C but comes standard on poverty spec Golfs. Can't remember the last time I used my spare wheel.

 

In this case I prefer a small hump, but obviously there are certain situations where large humps are better ;)

first owner could have got the optional extra leather or something instead of full size spare.i've got a space saver from a mk4 polo and got a tyre on it to match radius.now need the carpet.
