Got the exclusive use of a 320bhp+ stage 3 s/c vr6 for the next week or so (got to do a few leccy bits on it) Disarm the alarm this morning to move the car and drivers door will not open, even though it is visible unlocked. Thought that the door might be frozen (due to the freezy weather) so i sprayed some de-icer round the door frame.....still no joy. Tried to open the door from inside...still no joy!! Popped of the door handle surround to see if the rod was still connected to the interior handle....it is!! Aaaargh! Now how do i open the door to repair whatever is broken (suspected door catch) without breaking a lovely leather highline door panel. Any help would be appreciated because i cant deal with climbing over front seats to get to the drivers seat (im not exactly skinny for those who know me!! ^o) Many thanks.
