finding the blower

just took the middle of my dash out, to try and find where the blower is, any help on where it is would be cool cheers

It's not in the middle at all.

 

Take the passenger side parcel shelf out and you'll see it tucked away in the right hand corner under the dash.

if you take the plastic scuttle cover off under the bonnet, you can see the fan under the plastic grille, but you need to what Valerian says to get to it.

lol , why didnt you turn it on and follow the sound :-) , yep under the glovebox , take the shelf out

i suppose you've checked the fuse mate

its just not often they stop completely , usually work on the 4th speed setting - resistor pack or very noisy due to knackered bearings

If you feel about at the back of the fan housing you should find a plastic locking tab........once you undo this......turn the fan housing clockwise to release it.
