Recommended Posts

Ok guys so I removed my early style gauges.

and bought this

behind the old gauge panel was this

climatronic wiring-Golf from May 01.pdf09062007136.jpg[/attachment:50c7e]

so how do I make these...

2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdf09062007137.jpg[/attachment:50c7e]

fit the back of the new pod which looks like this.

Or do I have to bite the bullet and get a pro?

Also the new pod came with an oil pressure sender, will that need fitting? I was under the impression it wouldnt as I had an oil pressure gauge in the old pod.

Cheers

should be a case of changing the existing connectors to small spade female connectors,if you had an oil press guage before it should work with the new guages

I hope its that simple. rear of the pod look like it accepts a VAG plug you find all over the car?

Will it work if i get a few female connectors?

my guage panel is the very same one you have and its got individual connectors hooked up to it(was fitted by a head VW tech as a casher),and 3+ years later I've had no problems other than the original guage's decals peeling off,so just get a few female connectors to fit and it should all be hunky dory
