craigowl 0 Posted July 3, 2009 We seriously considered a new Triumph GT6 as our next car in 1972. Really good looking car in the flesh, too. MGB GT, was more desirable but too expensive. We went to the hills a lot and even considered a Land Rover, too! Cost about £1200 then I think.
swiftkid 1 Posted July 3, 2009 hs to be said - i'm surprised the konigsegg ccx hasn't made it's way onto this list yet... it is after all supposed to be "the other car" if you are already lucky enough to own a veyron! 1. Corrado VR6 (perhaps R32 4wd for something a bit special) 2. MK2 escort with cosworth engine 3. Metro 6r4 4. Ford RS200 5. Koenigsegg CCX or CCR, i forget which one is the daddy of them 6. Lancia Delta Integrale 7. Porsche 911 GT3 RSR in some bright garish colour :D 8. Nissan Skyline R33 (with R34 front end) looks absolutely amazing!!! 9. Renault Espace F1, no idea why i, was running out of ideas and just thought of it now but it would be soo much fun beating people in a people carrier 10. A monster truck :D I may have to add an evo somewhere on that list though... im sure my shopping car (espace) could be replaced
Leonard 0 Posted July 3, 2009 Nice liking the Alpine. Almost bought an A610 rather than the Rado

jazzdevil 0 Posted July 9, 2009 Several nice choices here folks... I'm sure I've done a top ten on here before, so won't repeat apart from one: ...a reasonably affordable, classic 90's V6 coupe with the potential for much pain in the wallet :luvlove: ...even if the one I caught sight of at Goodwood had the owner out with a portable charger trying to start it in order to drive home
vornwend 0 Posted July 10, 2009 Just having a look at the Wikipedia entry for Karmann and I came across this reference to their involvement with the TR6: "The bodywork closely resembled that of the previous model, but the front and back ends were squared off, reportedly based on a consultancy contract involving Karmann." Knew there must be a reason why I liked it  5. Truimph GT6.jpg[/attachment:2hqp1wv1]
