New Storm Owner - Windscreen Wiper Advice

Hi Everyone,

 

I've finally bought the car I've wanted for over 10 years now, the VR6 Storm. I picked it up yesterday

 

I've trawlled through various posts on here and thought I'd just post this for any help you can give.

 

The car still has the original wipers on which aren't great in the rain. Is it the Lupo ones I need or are the Audi or Golf ones better? Can you recommed where to get them from? Any advice would be appreciated

 

I live in Barnsley so if anyone could recommend a good Volkswagen/Corrado specialist that would also be appreciated

Before you plump for a proper [and expensive] solution, you could try some decent aero wipers and a bit of mild wiper-arm bending.

 

It sorted mine out.

You ever heard of Swifts in Carlton?? I recommend them for servicing and general work you may want doing...... dont have the number to hand but id look them up mate 8)

Thanks for the advice. I'm looking into the aero wipers for now, and sooner rather than later with all this rain we're having

 

I'm based towards Cudworth. If there are any local meetings or car runs please let me know
