_Matt_ 24 Posted May 16 I'm really sorry to hear of your loss Graham, absolutely awful news and I cannot imagine what you are going through. If you do need anything please do reach out. Best wishes and all the best. Matt
GrahamU 5 Posted May 23 (edited) Thanks for you kind comments, life goes on, I haven't been out to the car since it happened but I need to do something soon. I have today received a message to say the grill and rear badges I ordered in March are ready, so I paid for them and they should be on their way now. Thanks to Xavier at Renewart Edited May 23 by GrahamU
_Matt_ 24 Posted May 23 You're a brave man Graham but you're right, a way forward will re-ground your foundations and the car hobby is a great escapism/challenge/community... and you build special cars! Those badges look great and will give passer bys at shows a clue to how unique your corrado is.

GrahamU 5 Posted May 28 (edited) Picked up this BBS centre cap tool today, A mate found it in the back of a TT he bought for £500 and gave it to me for helping him. Edited May 28 by GrahamU
Dox 20 Posted May 28 What's he doing with the TT? Cats are worth £3-

Cats are worth £3-400 I had been written off but not logged because the fuel pump packed up, a pump off ebay got it running again, and the matt black wrap removed revealed good silver paint, its only done about 60k so he is hoping to sell it for about £3k, if it doesn't sell then he may break it
Cressa 39 Posted May 28 Ooo anything BBS is nice. What are you going to do with it?

It fits the centres of my BBS wheels meaning I can actually tighten them without worrying that I wont get them undone without damaging
GrahamU 5 Posted June 11 (edited) Took the car to Alive and vdubbin today, longest drive so far since the winter rework 🙂 seemed to go well so happy with it. Couple of photos from the day Next update - I have a set of KW V3's arriving this week so thats the next thing to play with 🙂 Edited June 11 by GrahamU
Cressa 39 Posted June 11 Having Reliability adds to trusting whats been done. I do like the side decals and think it suits the dark car 👍
rolex 0 Posted June 13 I do like the side look with those de-locked door handles, especially on a black car. 😎
GrahamU 5 Posted July 12 (edited) Cars had a few trips out now including the 350mile round trip to the Corrado 35 meet, it didn't miss a beat so I have some confidence it it now Then had a local classic car meet which seemed to have a couple of classics and a whole load of ST's 🤣 I took this after most had left followed by another local meet at the pub at the bottom of my road 🙂 Had to laugh at the photographers that walked straight past mine to take photos of a gaggle of Fiesta's then walked straight past the other way 🙂 Then finally another old forum meet Edited July 12 by GrahamU
GrahamU 5 Posted July 12 (edited) oh yeah, and I bought another toy to play with But I wont say anymore about the Ford 🙂 Edited July 12 by GrahamU
Cressa 39 Posted July 13 Ha ha that's showing your age. Got to love an old 1600 sport, especially in that condition. My brother had one back in the day with wide forest arches and the loudest exhaust ever 😂😂
1xshaunx1 27 Posted July 15 Had a look around yours at the Corrado 35 meet, nice to see it in the flesh. Mines 4th in line, in the 3rd photo. Only stayed while about 13:00 though, still had a good drive and chat with fellow enthusiasts. There was everything from show winners to what looked literally like a barn find complete with bird footprints on the bonnet
GrahamU 5 Posted August 5 (edited) Just read the 35 anni write up in PVW and a little disappointed that it mentions all other engines including the TDI and 20vT's but no mention of a TFSI or a DSG, and it was the only one there and that I know of, there is only 1 other in the UK, small moan over 🙂 I may have made another small purchase 🙂 K04 turbo setup, I'll then get it mapped to around 320 - 350 brake Edited August 5 by GrahamU
Cressa 39 Posted August 6 It's a shame that they haven't mentioned this engine as it will bebthe future of conversions. Keep us posted on the turbo set up, what a beast it will become
_Matt_ 24 Posted August 6 That is an amateur oversight on PVW behalf. Did they send their apprentice or something? Sent from my SM-G990B2 using Tapatalk
