VR6 Lee 0 Posted September 8, 2012 Does anyone know how much a genuine VW front wheel bearing is for a rado vr6 95?? has anyone used any other make bearings, if yes how much and opinions please.
G-Lad 0 Posted September 8, 2012 Don't touch GSF cheapo bearings. If you look at a genuine vs a pattern part, you'll easily see why the genuine parts are more expensive. They are clearly much better quality.
P3rks 11 Posted September 8, 2012 Genuine VW bearing - 1H0498625 - £44.64 per side last time I checked. Expect that to have risen though as I've found VW prices go up every quarter, even if by a few penny's. SKF were the VW supplier for bearings when the corrado was being produced. So a Genuine VW bearing, stamped VW is actually produced by SKF. SKF part number VKBA1491 - £23.58 for both at Andrew Pages (that was trade price though).
