Connecting Plate replacement (area around Front jacking point...)

Recommended Posts

Anyone know if these repair panels are still available from heritage or classic parts?

(Don't know how to tag annavr6 so also hoping she see's this)

Mainly after the top one (191804079B part 8 in diagram). Its the plate that always gets crushed when tire fitters jack it the wrong place. Sits underneath the front part of the floor pan.

191804079B connecting plate for longitudinal member left

191804080B connecting plate for longitudinal member right

Not the actual part in this link but Parts 8 and 9 in the diagram attached

Hello there,

I've had a look on VW Heritage they don't list it, plus I've checked on their Classic Part section again doesn't come up.

I've also looked on VW Classic Parts site still can't find those items, but if you type in part number 191 804 080B in the search box, it is recognised as the number flags up, but only shows MK1 / MK2 Golf.

The other part number 191 804 079B doesn't seem to be recognised, but I'd still contact VW Heritage especially as part number 191 804 080B is recognised on the Classic Parts site.

Hello mate,

I've had a reply PM from Anna at VW Heritage, unfortunately these items are obsolete.
