Thought I would take some pics to compare engine location VR6 + G60 . Vertical measure down bay indicates centre of engine to front hub .

Measuring the cam cover is a bit flawed, on the VR the weight of the crank, rods, engine block and gearbox  is all behind the datum mark. I'd suggest the equilibrium point of the VR be more like the rear of the head .

You are correct that the 8V leaning back towards the bulkhead (VR towards the rad) gives a much better weight distribution and better balance for handling because of it.

Hi,

You seem to have added a windscreen wiper motor cover, can I ask what's that from, I don't believe Corrado's normally had them , and yours didn't initially ?

Cheers.

You don’t want one one of them.

You need one of these

Hi,

Very nice, if you're into carbon, but a bit pricey for me as a tight old git...!

I agree with Shaun, save up until you can afford it. It also hides the wiper motor, ECU... If you don't like carbon fiber, they make them in black as well.

What brand is your one JF? Notice you maintain the stock plastic panels along the base of the screen/the ones the wipers come out of. I had to remove these on the SWG

It's the Spoonfed Tuning in hex weave carbon fiber mate. You can keep the original cowl trim with it. He offers those in one piece but I've heard of fitment issues. Anyways, it has a lip going up where it meets the cowl, it's secured with rubber seal.

Thanks Hasan! Yes that brake servo, I spent quite some time making the brake lines going to it. I do like the strut caps, it's a nice touch. Here's a better pic of it all. Cheers!

Strut caps are nice are they spoonfed mate - I reckon they would not ship the scuttle panel here because risk of damage - the spoilers are more bulky so no problem - they look much better then swg Uk one.  Looks not to handed either fits both rhd + Lhd

Thanks mate, yes caps are spoonfed as well. They are not interchangeable LHD/RHD but I know he makes them for both. Kind if odd if he makes them RHD but won't ship them? Wasn't Heritage selling his product?

They sell the extended spoiler and the front splitters but his too scared to post the carbon bits international-  well to the UK anyway.

I was going to attempt a complete coolant hose change in the g60 bay including the metal ones but its looks hell in there to get the tools in !

The car has a mocal oil cooler so I take it the x2 blanks in the x2 hoses are a stock  oil cooler delete ?  Agricultural to say the least .

Corrado life blood sweat and oil - has to take off and measure as getting braided made - 8 jic fittings 90 degree on all ends . The hoses are identical measured from fitting end to fitting end - 65 mm - you order the 0.7 m . Hope that help anyone else you just twist the one end to suit fitment in a vice. . I can just connect to the sandwich plate no messing on that end- all the new kits have different fittings now therefore you can just buy the complete kit which comes with sandwich plate .

Bastard slam will have to come off to remove old cooler and fit new.  .

That looks like a real pain to do mate! Those Mocal hoses, good thing you're replacing them before they fracture... Looks like they're close to do so. Cheers!
